OttimoSoffro di mal di schiena da molti anni, con ernia lombare (non protrusa), ma continuo a praticare sport intensi come il tennis tavolo, con forti dolori dopo gli allenamenti. Questo tappetino mi aiuta davvero a rilassare la muscolatura della colonna e delle spalle, riducendo il dolore e la rigidità. Molte funzioni, non tutte necessarie per me, ma gradevoli. Alto 1,83, riesco a massaggiare tutta la colonna, anche se per la zona lombo sacrale e per la parte più alta delle spalle mi devo adattare un po’ con la postura per arrivarci bene. Il massaggio è intenso, come piace a me e come mi abbisogna. Se però fosse possibile regolare la durezza del massaggio, questo aggiungerebbe un punto in più e renderebbe l’oggetto davvero fenomenale. De momento cumple con mis espectativas.Lo recibí hace 4 días y de momento va bien. Lo uso tanto yo, como mi novia. Siempre respetamos el tiempo de uso indicado en las instrucciones de 15 minutos como máximo. Espero no que nos dé algún fallo, porque sino sería muy desepcionate. Tiene muchas funciones de masaje– con los típicos rollos que te masajean la espalda y el cuello, tiene una función de vibracion, de masaje por aerocompresión y también función de calor. Es perfecto para sentarse al volver a casa después de un día de trabajo. Uno se queda relajado antes de dormir. Y aunque requeriere una inversión que no es pequeña, al fin y al cabo merece la pena porque te ahorra dinero que pagarías a un masajista profesional, cuyos precios también son elevados. De momento va bien, pero se verá con el tiempo.

Tut meinem Rücken gut, sehr zufriedenIch bin sehr zufrieden mit der Massage-Auflage. Ich bin nur 1,65 m. Daher ist es von Vorteil, dass man die Auflage in der Höhe am Hals/Nacken verstellen kann. Und dann muss einfach austesten, welche Einstellung einem taugt. Bei mir funktioniert die Massage des mittleren Rückens zusammen mit dem Hals zum Beispiel super. Man kann nämlich auch die Regionen, welche massiert werden sollen, einzeln auswählen. Die vielen unterschiedlichen Modi zum verstellen sind super: die Intensität kann gewählt werden, man kann einstellen, ob man den ganzen Rücken oder zb. nur den unteren Teil des Rückens massiert haben möchte, und ob auch am Gesäß/Oberschenkel Massage vorgenommen werden soll. Man kann auch wählen ob mit oder ohne Wärme massiert werden sol

If it is too much at first, put a blanket or towel on it, but trust me. Use the heat, and when relaxed enough, let the heat and balls do their magic. It's one of the better seat massagers I have purchased.Of course, no seat massager will ever compare to the real thing, but the multiple functions, quality air bags, extended neck massage nodules, great temperature heat, and the very comforting seat vibration. I will say that with these things, height issues always arise. They just can't give them enough range to personalize between body sizes. This one is fairly good for mid-range bodies. I'm 5'9, and the neck seems to be in a good location, as well as the back massagers.
The rollers for the back are smooth, and rotate slowly to give that kneading feeling. The neck rollers protrude, so they can massage the back and sides of the neck pretty well. And the air pads for the hips and waist are great – surprising for a unit that is fairly compact as far as massagers go. What I have run into with all of these add-on or sit-on-top units is that the rollers eventually start "skipping" and making a loud clunking noise, I'm assuming from the gears being worn down. I have had this one for a number of months now, and it is not immune. I am starting to hear a small popping sound coming from one of the back rollers and assume with more use it will only get worse. I fully admit that this massager gets used almost daily, so we are putting it through it's paces.
The vibration has multiple modes to find the pattern that suits your comfort and relaxation needs the most. I most often just use the Demo mode, because it offers a nice randomness and rejuvenation program that pulls every feature of the chair in. I was a little disappointed in that area by the lack of programs this remote offers. It really is just the Demo mode. Otherwise, you can turn on vibration, air, and one of the massage modes separately, as well as adding in the neck, but there are no other pre-programmed multi-function programs.
All in all, I am please with the purchase of this COMFIER Shiatsu Neck Back Massager with Heat and Compression, and would recommend for those looking for some daily respite from mild to moderate back pains and aches, and overall stretching and relaxation of the neck and back.

Pros:
Packaged nicely.
Instructions and set up are easy.
Appears sturdy.
Back massage much more intense without the detachable pad, which I really liked (pad is a Velcro attach/detach).
Fit Recliner sitting up but not with straps around back. Back massage without the Velcro pad was good-very good, but not great.
Fit adjustable bed the best, though it isn't recommended for that specific use. Very good but not excellent back massage.
Cons:
Very heavy. Had to have hubby carry it around.
Didn't fit on my office chair; too big and wrong angle.
Fit dining chair but needed a pad on the seat to get lumbar and neck massager into correct position. This had my feet off the floor – tried various modes, not much of a massage. Also despite 90 degree angle of chair, had to put neck in a very uncomfortable position to use the Neck massage position.
Neck massager is not angled. It is stright aligned with the back but back's massaging units push back "out" a bit So whether in Recliner, dining chair, or adjustable bed (even with pillows or rolled throw blankets to get a better angle on the neck) I wasn't able to use the neck massager portion as it was an awkward and uncomfortable position for my neck in every setting.
Even with a cushion on the seat to make back massager fit my smaller stature (5’1”), and neck on most downward position, neck massage still too high on dining chair and recliner, even after putting rolled up throw blanket behind it to change the angle to be better. But did fit much my neck much better on the adjustable bed, but nothing I tried put the neck massager itself at a comfortable angle to use. Head was always stretched up and pushed back to use neck portion.
Back massager good-very good not great. Would give 4.5 stars.
Neck massager's poor angle made it uncomfortable to use even after adjusting the height and using pillows to change the angle. Couldn't find any way to use it without it being awkward and uncomfortable. Would give that part a 2 star review. The neck massager works great, but the angle makes it uncomfortable to use.
Suggestion for improvement: angle neck forward about 15-20 degrees forward so it lines up with the back when sitting up.
The "air pressure" settings were just very odd. They squeezed from the sides and it wasn't a massage, just an annoying squeeze and relax motion.
I don't like vibrating massage, but it felt very typical. Nothing unusual. Not too intense and very smooth. So 5 stars for vibration (if you like vibration).
Heat was pretty good. It didn't get too hot or overheat on dining chair, recliner or adjustable bed. Heat was just enough to be soothing without feeling "too hot."
Overall score: 4 stars. Good back massager and well made. Not worth the money given the neck angle issues.

Day 01 Review: So Far, (Mostly) So Good!SYNOPSIS
Day 01 Review — I have used the massager for two full sessions and really like it so far — when it works (see paragraph 04). I'm a muscular guy (5'10.5", 235 lbs) and I the pressure from the massager is just about the best I can expect from a cushion. It's firm and insistent; it's no replacement for a true deep tissue massage, but it's well worth the money *IF* the massager holds up to regular use.
The active zone of the back massager is 14" from the TOP of the "Comfier" logo (see pictures). There are 4" of dead zone between the seat cushion and the massager's lowest point of contact. The active zone of the neck massager is 8". I was able to massage my full neck, shoulders, and back by adjusting the settings in "Manual" mode.
I was pleasantly surprised with the air bags. They feel like gentle but firm squeezing pressure on my flanks and upper thighs — this pressure was very soothing, but not invigorating. The vibration in the seat cushion is pleasant, but mild. The heating element is effective at warming the cushion and back.
I said in paragraph 01 that I liked this massager "when it works." It has shut off early (that is, after only a couple of minutes) twice in a row, and *NOT* after a previous full 15 minute session. I do not know if the massager turned off because of overheating (which would be poor build) or because I jostled the power cord (which seems feasible). In any event, after rearranging and sitting still I was able to run the massager for a full session.

As with any mechanical massager, this device should be safe if you are medically cleared for massages. I strongly recommend against using *ANY* massage device without medical clearance if you have osteopenia, osteoperosis, herniated discs, collapsed spinal column, or any other back/neck conditions. You really do not want to mess around with those.
But if you are of sound health, you should be fine using this. It won't injure an adult without a preexisting condition. I wouldn't let a kid play around on this without supervision, though, as the massagers could cause discomfort or (possibly) injury for a curious child who didn't understand the risk they were taking.

Purchased for my office jobI purchased this because I sit at a desk all day for work. My back aches from long days so I figured I’d get something to help. This is my first day using it and I love it! There are plenty of controls on the remote and it works fantastically. However, the neck massagers are positioned weird so it ends up rubbing the back of your head more than your neck, I am 5’5 so I’m not super short or anything. The heating feels amazing and the back massage is great. I recommend removing the back massager covering for a better massage, it easily detaches with Velcro. It does make some squeaky noises and blowing noises when you turn the airbags on, not sure how this will affect my calls I do, but it’s not incredibly loud. For the price this is a great find. I hope it lasts long. The air bags also don’t so much but make the sides tighter on your skin, it doesn’t really “massage”. It also doesn’t fit perfectly in my standard desk chair, but it still works. I hope this review is helpful 🙂 overall 8/10 rating.

For me this is better than the mall massage chair.This massage chair is excellent! I’ve had similar devices in the past that I had paid something like $60 bucks. It did the shiatsu massage with heat but wasn’t comfortable on my back. This massage chair has so many options the cheap versions of these kinds of massage chairs don’t have. What I enjoy most is the tapping massage. Only criticism I have is that when you press the SPOT button to stop in desired location the shiatsu stops and only the tapping performs. Not really a big deal for me though. The neck massager is also great. It says it’s designed for people 5 feet to 5 feet 9 inches. I’m 5’ 9 . I found that when I lower the neck massager to its lowest position it does the top part of my shoulders, which is great. The compression part of this unit was a first for me and oddly enough it’s comforting. If you’re looking for a high quality portable back and neck massager I highly recommend this product. 199.00 price tag made me cringe a bit but I’m really happy that I gave this product a chance. Comfort of a back and neck massager at fraction of the priceThe media could not be loaded. Since last year, I have moved into a job which requires me to be sitting in the chair continuously for hours. Because of that, a couple of months back I developed sever lower back pain and neck – so much so that, I had to take a week off and rest. Apart from medication, exercises and rest, the doctor recommended either getting a massage chair or massage therapy sessions. The therapy sessions required me to drive to locations and take off from work etc and also expensive (despite insurance). On the other hand, when I started exploring massage chairs, they were also very expensive (over $500 etc), bulky to store and carry. Also most of them promised full body massage which was an overkill for me.
So I stumbled upon this product 'COMFIER Neck Back Massager with Heat' and based on reviews, decided to give it a shot. And now with a couple of weeks of usage, I and definitely say that it was a good decision. Now I have got the option to get my routine back and neck massage from the comfort of my home while working and at a fraction of the cost.
Coming to the product, I would say, the simplicity of use is its biggest feature. There are no complications, just plug and play and the remote control is simple and intuitive. I was able to set it up on my work chair in no time and in my two weeks of usage so far, it is very very effective. Also, compared to a full size expensive massage chair, this is ultra portable to be carried along in the car so that I can use it while working from office or hotel location as well.

To know I can have pain relief on a daily basis (in the comfort of my own home) is priceless. I've mentioned the pros now here is the cons which there's a solution. Day 01 Review: So Far, (Mostly) So Good!SYNOPSIS
Day 01 Review — I have used the massager for two full sessions and really like it so far — when it works (see paragraph 04). I'm a muscular guy (5'10.5", 235 lbs) and I the pressure from the massager is just about the best I can expect from a cushion. It's firm and insistent; it's no replacement for a true deep tissue massage, but it's well worth the money *IF* the massager holds up to regular use.
The active zone of the back massager is 14" from the TOP of the "Comfier" logo (see pictures). There are 4" of dead zone between the seat cushion and the massager's lowest point of contact. The active zone of the neck massager is 8". I was able to massage my full neck, shoulders, and back by adjusting the settings in "Manual" mode.
I was pleasantly surprised with the air bags. They feel like gentle but firm squeezing pressure on my flanks and upper thighs — this pressure was very soothing, but not invigorating. The vibration in the seat cushion is pleasant, but mild. The heating element is effective at warming the cushion and back.
I said in paragraph 01 that I liked this massager "when it works." It has shut off early (that is, after only a couple of minutes) twice in a row, and *NOT* after a previous full 15 minute session. I do not know if the massager turned off because of overheating (which would be poor build) or because I jostled the power cord (which seems feasible). In any event, after rearranging and sitting still I was able to run the massager for a full session.

As with any mechanical massager, this device should be safe if you are medically cleared for massages. I strongly recommend against using *ANY* massage device without medical clearance if you have osteopenia, osteoperosis, herniated discs, collapsed spinal column, or any other back/neck conditions. You really do not want to mess around with those.
But if you are of sound health, you should be fine using this. It won't injure an adult without a preexisting condition. I wouldn't let a kid play around on this without supervision, though, as the massagers could cause discomfort or (possibly) injury for a curious child who didn't understand the risk they were taking.

Good Enough for Sale PriceTook a couple weeks to really figure out what works best for me. I had to be patient because my immediate reaction was to return it. I fidgeted a lot to get the right spots. Now I add 1 or 2 pillows to reach spots I want so I can relax more. Don't need or use the airbags as it doesn't do much for me and the side airbags squeeze too tight to be comfortable. Wish the neck portion would just go up and down like the back massagers but I have to manually adjust and remote doesn't always work so have press again and again to move it. Also, the neck massagers stick so far out compared to the back massagers, so it is not as relaxing as hoped. (I took back cover off and left neck cover on, and even added additional neck cover.) Neck massagers have 4 rollers, 2 on each side, but unfortunately, can barely feel the smaller rollers unless I push into headrest, but then the big rollers are way to much to handle. So that is a real bummer because I would get better recovery if I could feel the smaller rollers working. Heat works well but takes a while, so I turn that on as soon as turn on unit. I got this on sale for $160 and I think it is worth it for that price as it does reduce my back pain upon awakening, and later in the day, if I need to stay upright. This is integral to my healthI have purchased 2 of these (my dog got jealous and chewed up the cords) and will continue to have at least in my home at all times, one as a backup. I have recommended it to people as well. I have long Covid which includes pain causes by muscle spasms all over my body with no warning (i.e. I could just be sitting in my recliner). Without fixing the pain quickly, I will have a seizure. Any time I start to not feel well, and don't know why from becoming confused or feeling a migraine begin, and I start using this. The pain relief, with the heat being the key, allows me to continue to work fulltime and have quality of life. While this is not a magic device, you do need to learn how to sit in it to get the relief you need. I am 5'8" and have had no problem using this. This machine is important as my doctor visits and is saving me from have lots of physical therapy and surgery to fix my straight neck. The rolling balls CAN be intense, but more effective than anything I have tried. The heat relaxed tense and spasming muscles, and allows the balls to massage and fully loosen the knots. If it is too much at first, put a blanket or towel on it, but trust me. Use the heat, and when relaxed enough, let the heat and balls do their magic. This product is worth every dollar it costs and then some!!

Everything you can ask for at this pricepointI've been sitting on this massage mat for hours the last few days. It hits all those hard to reach spots for me. What I really started to appreciate was the air pressures, it's oddly satisfying.
The pictures on the product preview showed it being used on a couch, but I felt there wasnt enough resistance as my couch isnt firm enough. I had to move it to a more rigid chair and that really helped a lot. I havent tried the app option but that also seems kind of pointless since the remote is literally connected to the chair.

Love it!I have had several back massage pads over the years; this is the best I've ever had! After 15 minutes on this pad, I feel as relaxed as if I used one of these big bulky massage chairs in the mall. I was almost mesmerized the first time and have used it every day since. I get up a little before my kids and sit in it every morning to start the day with some me time. I also use it sometimes in the middle of the day to recharge my batteries. My entire family uses it and loves it. It has many features including two different kinds of massages for the back and a neck massage option. Vibration, heat function, and spot-on massage options help me work out specific areas when needed. But my favorite feature about this massage chair is the inflatable cushions from the side. The cushions give a comfortable stabilization on the waist level, making it a perfect combination with the 2D/3D Shiatsu kneading which helps with lower back pain. It is just the right intensity, and it feels heavenly to me, mesmerizing. I also love the rolling option for the entire back. I have had neck problems for several years and feel the neck massage helps reduce discomfort. I want to talk about the few things that really matter to me. Essentially, I want to talk about package presentation including shipping experience and unboxing. Next, I will talk about installation, followed by learning curve, usability, and finally the product performance review, followed by wrap-up/summarization.
1. Shopping and shipping experience You are ordering from Amazon, as you know, and there should be no problems here… if you have Prime, you should get your shipment promptly. I received my shipment 3 days after ordering, but there was a holiday weekend during my wait.
2. Unboxing – see attached photos, the box is clearly descriptive but comes in an outer cardboard box. Inside, in exactly one minute I was completely unpacked with the massager unit, AC adapter, product manual and warranty card/reminder. The remote control is attached to the unit but tucks away when not in use. All in all, the unboxing is simple and installation can be done by anybody. There are 2 elastic straps which attach to a chair you would like to use (I recommend an upright but comfortable chair…. the wooden chair that I used was a little too stiff, but hey, I was excited to start using the massager).
3. Installation and learning curve: Installation is quick. 1. Attach elastic straps to back of chair, 2. Attach AC cord to massager on one side, and outlet on the other. 3. Before you sit down, determine whether you want to remove the flap which lies in front of the middle of the machine where the shaitsu "fingers" lie. A piece of velcro holds the flap in place. The massager is more intense on the back when you do not use the flap. I like to remove the flap for this reason, and because I like seeing the lit-up shiatsu compression balls along the middle lower part of the unit (see photos – lit up in red and blue). Learning curve can be quick if you sit down and press "DEMO" on the remote. My suggestion is to do this the first time around so you can experience the different functions and areas massaged by the unit. Once you learn the remote, via a few days practice, you'll know exactly which buttons to hit to get to what you need quickly.
4. This massager has a lot of areas, functions, and hence possibilities. I have a photo of the remote control which can help me explain different features of the massager. The top row of buttons has "vibration" and "demo". Demo, as I mentioned, is a good place to start and should be about 15 minutes. Vibration refers to vibration of the seat, and has 3 intensity levels depending on how many times you push the button… low, medium, and high, then off. The 2nd row refers to the neck shiatsu massager balls… and can be raised or lowered. The rotation can be made to go clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on your preference. Regarding the next row, I feel deep pressure with the 2D/3D button so I liked it turned on… "rolling" made the nodes travel up and down, stretching out my spinal muscle with simulated fingers. "Spot" with the 2 arrows offers fine-tuning of a spot massage without the rolling function… this is helpful when you have specific pinpoint soreness. For the row of "AIR" buttons, I like to use "Air back" along with "Air seat" to get compression in the lower back and seat areas… the intensity button feels very strong on the highest level, so I suggest starting on a lower intensity for this. Finally, the last row of buttons before the power button indicate if you want Shiatsu massage on full back, upper back, or lower back… I suggest going Full back (both lights lit I think). The heat button should be obvious, but I'm not fond of heat in my massages.
5. In summary, this is a full featured high-performance product, and I feel like this is premium and next best to getting an actual massage chair in the thousands of dollars. For this product, portability beats an actual massage chair every time… I can get this massager off my chair and packed in a minute flat. (I like to remove this massager when my nephews come by because this is a quality massager and therefore not a toy, and therefore children should not use, or at least use with supervision). This one is padded well and they have made it so it actually fits in the grooves of your body while you sit. I don't know how else to explain it but some are really thin and are just flat and hard feeling. This one really fits to your body so your getting the full massage since it hits all of your muscle areas. The massagers feel great, I like how you can customize it to specificly hit the areas you want or have a full body massage if that's what you need. Amazing Relief After Working Too Hard doing Yard Work or Any Physical TasksI LOVE this massager. I was thinking maybe the air bag compression wouldn't do much, but I'm VERY glad I got that. It really does add a LOT to the experience. I'm in my late 60's and work on my property outside cutting logs and doing a lot of things that are hard on my muscles and my back. I used to need to see my chiropractor once a week at LEAST because of the abuse my body felt. But this massager has changed all that. Now, I massage right before and right after working outside. I use the massager a few times each time and I avoid needing trips for spinal adjustments or acupuncture.
This thing really makes a difference in my quality of life. The controls are easy to use and the massager is very versatile. Before I do heavy yard work, I use the massager for one "session" with the full back setting. The shiatsu rollers travel the full length (height?) of my back and get my muscles ready to be used. The seat vibration is nice, and I usually leave the heat off on these warm summer days. The neck massage rollers are independent of the back rollers, and they can be adjusted up or down so that they hit just the right spot. I play with reversing the direction of the rollers, and they really do feel different with each setting. There is no rhyme nor reason for which feels better when, so I just play with it and when I'm happy I leave it.
The air bag compression is stronger than I thought it would be originally, and it makes a huge difference in the quality of the massage. The bags hold me in place and I think that makes the rollers more effective. The bags themselves also are doing some serious work on my body and muscles, but it's hard to describe. I can tell you, though, that when I use the massager without turning on the compression bags, it's a whole different experience. It's still good, but with the bags, it's fantastic. This is actually the second one of these massagers that I have gotten. I bought the first one OVER 3 years ago, and I used it at least once a day every single day. Most days, I used it twice, and on some days after working in the yard, I used it even more. Long story short — I gave my old one to a friend who really needed it and got myself a new one. I can NOT be without one of these, and if you have back issues, you will love this thing as well. Now, if my back is ever slightly stiff or hurting, I use the chair massage mat for a couple of times while playing video games or watching TV and my pain vanishes. I seriously can't say enough about how this product has improved my quality of life and allows me to still do a lot of yard work and work outside year round.

This massager is EVERYTHING I expect from Comfier. Thanks for raising the bar!This is my honest review of COMFIER Neck Back Massager with Heat, Shiatsu Massage Chair Pad 2D/3D Kneading & Compression Massager. Wow that its a mouthful.
I want to talk about the few things that really matter to me. Essentially, I want to talk about package presentation including shipping experience and unboxing. Next, I will talk about installation, followed by learning curve, usability, and finally the product performance review, followed by wrap-up/summarization.
1. Shopping and shipping experience You are ordering from Amazon, as you know, and there should be no problems here… if you have Prime, you should get your shipment promptly. I received my shipment 3 days after ordering, but there was a holiday weekend during my wait.
2. Unboxing – see attached photos, the box is clearly descriptive but comes in an outer cardboard box. Inside, in exactly one minute I was completely unpacked with the massager unit, AC adapter, product manual and warranty card/reminder. The remote control is attached to the unit but tucks away when not in use. All in all, the unboxing is simple and installation can be done by anybody. There are 2 elastic straps which attach to a chair you would like to use (I recommend an upright but comfortable chair…. the wooden chair that I used was a little too stiff, but hey, I was excited to start using the massager).
3. Installation and learning curve: Installation is quick. 1. Attach elastic straps to back of chair, 2. Attach AC cord to massager on one side, and outlet on the other. 3. Before you sit down, determine whether you want to remove the flap which lies in front of the middle of the machine where the shaitsu "fingers" lie. A piece of velcro holds the flap in place. The massager is more intense on the back when you do not use the flap. I like to remove the flap for this reason, and because I like seeing the lit-up shiatsu compression balls along the middle lower part of the unit (see photos – lit up in red and blue). Learning curve can be quick if you sit down and press "DEMO" on the remote. My suggestion is to do this the first time around so you can experience the different functions and areas massaged by the unit. Once you learn the remote, via a few days practice, you'll know exactly which buttons to hit to get to what you need quickly.
4. This massager has a lot of areas, functions, and hence possibilities. I have a photo of the remote control which can help me explain different features of the massager. The top row of buttons has "vibration" and "demo". Demo, as I mentioned, is a good place to start and should be about 15 minutes. Vibration refers to vibration of the seat, and has 3 intensity levels depending on how many times you push the button… low, medium, and high, then off. The 2nd row refers to the neck shiatsu massager balls… and can be raised or lowered. The rotation can be made to go clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on your preference. Regarding the next row, I feel deep pressure with the 2D/3D button so I liked it turned on… "rolling" made the nodes travel up and down, stretching out my spinal muscle with simulated fingers. "Spot" with the 2 arrows offers fine-tuning of a spot massage without the rolling function… this is helpful when you have specific pinpoint soreness. For the row of "AIR" buttons, I like to use "Air back" along with "Air seat" to get compression in the lower back and seat areas… the intensity button feels very strong on the highest level, so I suggest starting on a lower intensity for this. Finally, the last row of buttons before the power button indicate if you want Shiatsu massage on full back, upper back, or lower back… I suggest going Full back (both lights lit I think). The heat button should be obvious, but I'm not fond of heat in my massages.
5. In summary, this is a full featured high-performance product, and I feel like this is premium and next best to getting an actual massage chair in the thousands of dollars. For this product, portability beats an actual massage chair every time… I can get this massager off my chair and packed in a minute flat. (I like to remove this massager when my nephews come by because this is a quality massager and therefore not a toy, and therefore children should not use, or at least use with supervision). This massager is everything I expect from Comfier. Thank you for reading.

The neck rollers are strong. The back is medium strong, even without the cushioning. The air cushions are a little disappointing and not as compressive as lesser brands. Price is higher than others but the quality is there. Hoping itll last for years to come

Waaaaay better then I expectedThis is much different than the old ones that they used to make. This one is padded well and they have made it so it actually fits in the grooves of your body while you sit. I don't know how else to explain it but some are really thin and are just flat and hard feeling. This one really fits to your body so your getting the full massage since it hits all of your muscle areas. The massagers feel great, I like how you can customize it to specificly hit the areas you want or have a full body massage if that's what you need. I also like that you can only have it do your neck/head area for when I get those pesky migraines. The heat function is an added bonus too!

Day 01 Review: So Far, (Mostly) So Good!SYNOPSIS
Day 01 Review — I have used the massager for two full sessions and really like it so far — when it works (see paragraph 04). I'm a muscular guy (5'10.5", 235 lbs) and I the pressure from the massager is just about the best I can expect from a cushion. It's firm and insistent; it's no replacement for a true deep tissue massage, but it's well worth the money *IF* the massager holds up to regular use.
The active zone of the back massager is 14" from the TOP of the "Comfier" logo (see pictures). There are 4" of dead zone between the seat cushion and the massager's lowest point of contact. The active zone of the neck massager is 8". I was able to massage my full neck, shoulders, and back by adjusting the settings in "Manual" mode.
I was pleasantly surprised with the air bags. They feel like gentle but firm squeezing pressure on my flanks and upper thighs — this pressure was very soothing, but not invigorating. The vibration in the seat cushion is pleasant, but mild. The heating element is effective at warming the cushion and back.
I said in paragraph 01 that I liked this massager "when it works." It has shut off early (that is, after only a couple of minutes) twice in a row, and *NOT* after a previous full 15 minute session. I do not know if the massager turned off because of overheating (which would be poor build) or because I jostled the power cord (which seems feasible). In any event, after rearranging and sitting still I was able to run the massager for a full session.

Assuming this holds up: for the price point, you get a lovely range of features in a form factor that feels solid and high-quality. Other reviewers noted that this was cumbersome to set up, and I agree. Luckily I had a free chair that I plan to make the permanent home of this thing; if I had to set it up every time I used it, I would probably forego spending this much on the item and go with a Zyllion Shiatsu Massage Pillow.

As with any mechanical massager, this device should be safe if you are medically cleared for massages. I strongly recommend against using *ANY* massage device without medical clearance if you have osteopenia, osteoperosis, herniated discs, collapsed spinal column, or any other back/neck conditions. You really do not want to mess around with those.
But if you are of sound health, you should be fine using this. It won't injure an adult without a preexisting condition. I wouldn't let a kid play around on this without supervision, though, as the massagers could cause discomfort or (possibly) injury for a curious child who didn't understand the risk they were taking.

So I can say this item does indeed have a strong massage ability. The main thing to know is that you may have to make adjustments. For instance I'm 5 ft 4 in tall and based on the website description this chair should and does fit me; however when I sit on a pillow it reaches my neck better and the top of my shoulders area. When I'm sitting flat on the seat it doesn't really hit my neck the way I would like it too. But it's also so firm that I did have to use a double folded light blanket over the upper back area, leaving the lower back area uncovered which is where I need the most pressure. I've only had this a couple of weeks, but I can say that for the price this is an amazing item if you enjoy massage chairs and or have knotted muscles that require something more available than an expensive masseur at a spa routinely. I'm sure if the apparatus was able to take more heat they would have added it to the item in manufacturing, so I definitely would not add an additional heating element against the apparatus itself. I could also mention that it's fairly easy to move, it doesn't weigh that much for most people- I want to say maybe 15 lb or less. I'm sure that's in the description somewhere. After 2 years, this thing is going strong!The media could not be loaded. I purchased this in 2022. I really wanted a massage chair but I struggled with how bulky they were. I looked at this mainly because of its portability to bring into different rooms or stow away if needed. This was better than I expected!
I use it about 15-20 per month. I love the back massager the best. I like that I can put the heat on or not have it on. The neck massager is a tad higher than it should, but I'm only 5"3. As long as I sit up straight and lean my head back, it does a great job. I like that I can have the neck massager off. It seems to wrap around your body. If I turn it on without me sitting in it, it curves in to find where to massage. (See video). It is currently on a really cheap camping rocking chair and I love it! I went back on here trying to remember what I paid for this as I was thinking about $400 and surprised how reasonable the cost was. Very happy with this purchase.

I like the multi functionsUnit seems to work well and is quite and smooth. I really like the multi functions as in switching between rolling (just up and down) to the, what they call 2d & 3d, which is basically even rotating to the 3d which is the kneading mode. The air pads have three settings and are effective on bolstering the lower back to help get a bit deeper massaging. The seat air pad feels great if you glutes are a bit sore. The vibrating selections are good and strong. Does not "park" rollers at the bottom of the run but not that big a deal. The unit is a bit thick due to the bladders and air pump compared to units that do not have the bladder sand may take a bit of getting used to as you do not sit as "deep" in the chair, but, it also adds to the sturdiness of the unit. Definitely helps with back tension and relaxing sore muscles.

Nice massage with adjustments.The System works great on the lower to middle upper back. You need to find the right position to reach the top of the glutes. If you're trying to read or use a mobile device, you don't make good contact with the rollers while using the neck option. The neck tends to stay in one spot, so if I need it to move higher, I must adjust my position. It gives a good massage and provides nice pain relief. On occasion, if I'm really sore, it can be a bit intense.

I want to talk about the few things that really matter to me. Essentially, I want to talk about package presentation including shipping experience and unboxing. Next, I will talk about installation, followed by learning curve, usability, and finally the product performance review, followed by wrap-up/summarization.
1. Shopping and shipping experience You are ordering from Amazon, as you know, and there should be no problems here… if you have Prime, you should get your shipment promptly. I received my shipment 3 days after ordering, but there was a holiday weekend during my wait.
2. Unboxing – see attached photos, the box is clearly descriptive but comes in an outer cardboard box. Inside, in exactly one minute I was completely unpacked with the massager unit, AC adapter, product manual and warranty card/reminder. The remote control is attached to the unit but tucks away when not in use. All in all, the unboxing is simple and installation can be done by anybody. There are 2 elastic straps which attach to a chair you would like to use (I recommend an upright but comfortable chair…. the wooden chair that I used was a little too stiff, but hey, I was excited to start using the massager).
3. Installation and learning curve: Installation is quick. 1. Attach elastic straps to back of chair, 2. Attach AC cord to massager on one side, and outlet on the other. 3. Before you sit down, determine whether you want to remove the flap which lies in front of the middle of the machine where the shaitsu "fingers" lie. A piece of velcro holds the flap in place. The massager is more intense on the back when you do not use the flap. I like to remove the flap for this reason, and because I like seeing the lit-up shiatsu compression balls along the middle lower part of the unit (see photos – lit up in red and blue). Learning curve can be quick if you sit down and press "DEMO" on the remote. My suggestion is to do this the first time around so you can experience the different functions and areas massaged by the unit. Once you learn the remote, via a few days practice, you'll know exactly which buttons to hit to get to what you need quickly.
4. This massager has a lot of areas, functions, and hence possibilities. I have a photo of the remote control which can help me explain different features of the massager. The top row of buttons has "vibration" and "demo". Demo, as I mentioned, is a good place to start and should be about 15 minutes. Vibration refers to vibration of the seat, and has 3 intensity levels depending on how many times you push the button… low, medium, and high, then off. The 2nd row refers to the neck shiatsu massager balls… and can be raised or lowered. The rotation can be made to go clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on your preference. Regarding the next row, I feel deep pressure with the 2D/3D button so I liked it turned on… "rolling" made the nodes travel up and down, stretching out my spinal muscle with simulated fingers. "Spot" with the 2 arrows offers fine-tuning of a spot massage without the rolling function… this is helpful when you have specific pinpoint soreness. For the row of "AIR" buttons, I like to use "Air back" along with "Air seat" to get compression in the lower back and seat areas… the intensity button feels very strong on the highest level, so I suggest starting on a lower intensity for this. Finally, the last row of buttons before the power button indicate if you want Shiatsu massage on full back, upper back, or lower back… I suggest going Full back (both lights lit I think). The heat button should be obvious, but I'm not fond of heat in my massages.
5. In summary, this is a full featured high-performance product, and I feel like this is premium and next best to getting an actual massage chair in the thousands of dollars. For this product, portability beats an actual massage chair every time… I can get this massager off my chair and packed in a minute flat. (I like to remove this massager when my nephews come by because this is a quality massager and therefore not a toy, and therefore children should not use, or at least use with supervision). Good Enough for Sale PriceTook a couple weeks to really figure out what works best for me. I had to be patient because my immediate reaction was to return it. I fidgeted a lot to get the right spots. Now I add 1 or 2 pillows to reach spots I want so I can relax more. Don't need or use the airbags as it doesn't do much for me and the side airbags squeeze too tight to be comfortable. Wish the neck portion would just go up and down like the back massagers but I have to manually adjust and remote doesn't always work so have press again and again to move it. Also, the neck massagers stick so far out compared to the back massagers, so it is not as relaxing as hoped. (I took back cover off and left neck cover on, and even added additional neck cover.) Neck massagers have 4 rollers, 2 on each side, but unfortunately, can barely feel the smaller rollers unless I push into headrest, but then the big rollers are way to much to handle. So that is a real bummer because I would get better recovery if I could feel the smaller rollers working. Heat works well but takes a while, so I turn that on as soon as turn on unit. I got this on sale for $160 and I think it is worth it for that price as it does reduce my back pain upon awakening, and later in the day, if I need to stay upright. Watched videos before purchased which was helpful before deciding what could work. Good luck, hope this helps!

It's one of the better seat massagers I have purchased.Of course, no seat massager will ever compare to the real thing, but the multiple functions, quality air bags, extended neck massage nodules, great temperature heat, and the very comforting seat vibration. I will say that with these things, height issues always arise. They just can't give them enough range to personalize between body sizes. This one is fairly good for mid-range bodies. I'm 5'9, and the neck seems to be in a good location, as well as the back massagers.
The rollers for the back are smooth, and rotate slowly to give that kneading feeling. The neck rollers protrude, so they can massage the back and sides of the neck pretty well. And the air pads for the hips and waist are great – surprising for a unit that is fairly compact as far as massagers go. What I have run into with all of these add-on or sit-on-top units is that the rollers eventually start "skipping" and making a loud clunking noise, I'm assuming from the gears being worn down. I have had this one for a number of months now, and it is not immune. I am starting to hear a small popping sound coming from one of the back rollers and assume with more use it will only get worse. I fully admit that this massager gets used almost daily, so we are putting it through it's paces.
The vibration has multiple modes to find the pattern that suits your comfort and relaxation needs the most. I most often just use the Demo mode, because it offers a nice randomness and rejuvenation program that pulls every feature of the chair in. I was a little disappointed in that area by the lack of programs this remote offers. It really is just the Demo mode. Otherwise, you can turn on vibration, air, and one of the massage modes separately, as well as adding in the neck, but there are no other pre-programmed multi-function programs.
All in all, I am please with the purchase of this COMFIER Shiatsu Neck Back Massager with Heat and Compression, and would recommend for those looking for some daily respite from mild to moderate back pains and aches, and overall stretching and relaxation of the neck and back.

Very comfortable and effectiveI’ve been using this back massager for 3 weeks. In short, the more I use it the more I like it. The long story is that I have an older model Comfier back massager and have been using it for about 4 years. This older model has been serving me without any issues. However, it doesn't contours to the shape of my back. So the roller can protrude in my back and shoulder bones uncomfortably. With this new model, I felt it’s too gentle initially. Then I found that if I use it in a rocker chair and lie down a little, my body weight will enhance the massager not only comfortably but also very effectively.
The neck roller is a godsend. And the air compression is also nice.

I do think that your experience with an electronic massager can be polarizing based upon your expectations for the product, so I hope that my review can help you to understand what you should, and what you should not buy this product for.
If you want a relaxing experience (like the people in the stock photos of this product that all look like they are leaning back and relaxing), do buy this massager! If your idea of a massage is a soothing experience with gentle kneading, rolling, vibration, etc., to help you unwind, de-stress, and stimulate pleasant sensations, then you will enjoy the Comfier Massage Chair Pad. The title of the product says “Full Body Relaxation” and that’s the kind of state of mind you should have to enjoy the massager.
This massager is very well thought out and has many options to configure the massage exactly the way you like it. There are so many options, and the massage so customizable, that there is a really good chance you can dial in the settings to hit your body just right.
For example, I like a configuration that includes Neck Massage with reverse rotation direction, Back Massage with 3D Shiatsu + Heat, Low Seat Vibration, and Air Massage (both seat and back). I uploaded a picture of the remote with all these settings selected. My wife, however, does not like my configuration, but she prefers something much simpler, with only the Neck Massage (adjusting the nodes to her height) and Lower Back 2D Shiatsu. The point is, you may not love the way the massage feels as soon as you turn on the device, but spend some time learning the settings and you can dial in the massage to suit your tastes and your body.
I think that may be a contributing factor to some of the bad reviews. For example, one of the negative reviewers says “First, you can't use just the neck massage feature. You have to use both neck and back as the back has to be on for the neck to be usable”. I actually read this comment and saw this statement repeated in several negative comments before I purchased the massager, and it was almost a deal-breaker. However, this comment is 100% wrong. In the 2nd photo I uploaded, you can see a photo of the remote showing ONLY the Neck Massage activated with everything else off. It takes literally three button presses, after turning the device on, to do this.
1. Press 2D/3D (Changes Back Massage to 3D Shiatsu)
2. Press 2D/3D again (Turns Back Massage Off)
3. Press Neck (Turns Neck Massage On)
What you should not buy this massager for –
If you have a severe muscular-skeletal issue causing chronic pain, or you need relief from severe tightness, knots, and/or inflamed tendons, you will be disappointed with this device. It is just not designed for that purpose. If you are in this situation, please accept this advice.
1. You have to get your body moving every day. MOVE. Do what you need to do to cushion or guard the painful area and exercise every day.
2. Incorporate stretching AM & PM
3. Buy a Theragun
If I were rating the massager for these purposes, my rating would be different, but for “Full Body Relaxation” (as it advertises itself), I give it 5 stars!

Amazing Relief After Working Too Hard doing Yard Work or Any Physical TasksI LOVE this massager. I was thinking maybe the air bag compression wouldn't do much, but I'm VERY glad I got that. It really does add a LOT to the experience. I'm in my late 60's and work on my property outside cutting logs and doing a lot of things that are hard on my muscles and my back. I used to need to see my chiropractor once a week at LEAST because of the abuse my body felt. But this massager has changed all that. Now, I massage right before and right after working outside. I use the massager a few times each time and I avoid needing trips for spinal adjustments or acupuncture.
This thing really makes a difference in my quality of life. The controls are easy to use and the massager is very versatile. Before I do heavy yard work, I use the massager for one "session" with the full back setting. The shiatsu rollers travel the full length (height?) of my back and get my muscles ready to be used. The seat vibration is nice, and I usually leave the heat off on these warm summer days. The neck massage rollers are independent of the back rollers, and they can be adjusted up or down so that they hit just the right spot. I play with reversing the direction of the rollers, and they really do feel different with each setting. There is no rhyme nor reason for which feels better when, so I just play with it and when I'm happy I leave it.
The air bag compression is stronger than I thought it would be originally, and it makes a huge difference in the quality of the massage. The bags hold me in place and I think that makes the rollers more effective. The bags themselves also are doing some serious work on my body and muscles, but it's hard to describe. I can tell you, though, that when I use the massager without turning on the compression bags, it's a whole different experience. It's still good, but with the bags, it's fantastic. This is actually the second one of these massagers that I have gotten. I bought the first one OVER 3 years ago, and I used it at least once a day every single day. Most days, I used it twice, and on some days after working in the yard, I used it even more. Long story short — I gave my old one to a friend who really needed it and got myself a new one. I can NOT be without one of these, and if you have back issues, you will love this thing as well. Now, if my back is ever slightly stiff or hurting, I use the chair massage mat for a couple of times while playing video games or watching TV and my pain vanishes. I seriously can't say enough about how this product has improved my quality of life and allows me to still do a lot of yard work and work outside year round.

There are 2 elastic straps which attach to a chair you would like to use (I recommend an upright but comfortable chair…. the wooden chair that I used was a little too stiff, but hey, I was excited to start using the massager).
3. Installation and learning curve: Installation is quick. 1. Attach elastic straps to back of chair, 2. Attach AC cord to massager on one side, and outlet on the other. 3. Before you sit down, determine whether you want to remove the flap which lies in front of the middle of the machine where the shaitsu "fingers" lie. A piece of velcro holds the flap in place. The massager is more intense on the back when you do not use the flap. I like to remove the flap for this reason, and because I like seeing the lit-up shiatsu compression balls along the middle lower part of the unit (see photos – lit up in red and blue). Learning curve can be quick if you sit down and press "DEMO" on the remote. My suggestion is to do this the first time around so you can experience the different functions and areas massaged by the unit. Once you learn the remote, via a few days practice, you'll know exactly which buttons to hit to get to what you need quickly.
4. This massager has a lot of areas, functions, and hence possibilities. I have a photo of the remote control which can help me explain different features of the massager. The top row of buttons has "vibration" and "demo". Demo, as I mentioned, is a good place to start and should be about 15 minutes. Vibration refers to vibration of the seat, and has 3 intensity levels depending on how many times you push the button… low, medium, and high, then off. The 2nd row refers to the neck shiatsu massager balls… and can be raised or lowered. The rotation can be made to go clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on your preference. Regarding the next row, I feel deep pressure with the 2D/3D button so I liked it turned on… "rolling" made the nodes travel up and down, stretching out my spinal muscle with simulated fingers. "Spot" with the 2 arrows offers fine-tuning of a spot massage without the rolling function… this is helpful when you have specific pinpoint soreness. For the row of "AIR" buttons, I like to use "Air back" along with "Air seat" to get compression in the lower back and seat areas… the intensity button feels very strong on the highest level, so I suggest starting on a lower intensity for this. Finally, the last row of buttons before the power button indicate if you want Shiatsu massage on full back, upper back, or lower back… I suggest going Full back (both lights lit I think). The heat button should be obvious, but I'm not fond of heat in my massages.
5. In summary, this is a full featured high-performance product, and I feel like this is premium and next best to getting an actual massage chair in the thousands of dollars. For this product, portability beats an actual massage chair every time… I can get this massager off my chair and packed in a minute flat. (I like to remove this massager when my nephews come by because this is a quality massager and therefore not a toy, and therefore children should not use, or at least use with supervision). Very good.Surprisingly good for price. Very good back massage and teh air compression is helpful. I'ld buy it again. My only complaint would be the neck massage. Neither myself (6'1" or my wife 5'5" can make use of it. Does not make good contact. We have a separate hand held massager for the neck , so it is not a big deal for us. If the neck is our primary need, consider options.

My favorite massagerI needed to start getting more massages because of added stress in my life, however, massages are expensive! Plus I have to make appointments and drive somewhere so I figured it would be better to buy a massager I can use at home. I did not think it would be this great quality and work this well! For me, it really does a great job of working out kinks in the lower back. You can target, either lower or upper or both, areas of the back for the massager to go to work and it has been a good relief for my lower back stiffness. The air settings for the back and legs really provide an extra tight massaging squeeze. The 2D/3D on the neck is also quite nice. The wired remoted has a whole host of ways to personalize the location of the massage on the body and feels like it is very high quality with the stiffness and overall weight of the unit. The heating function is a nice touch, though I didn't notice this getting as hot as other Comfier brand products, but still effective on the back. The length of the unit is pretty good and would fit a wide range of height of people. I am 6'2" and that is about as tall as you would want to be to have the neck massager hit it in a good spot. Overall, very pleased with this massager as I do use it several times a week.

Amazing Relief After Working Too Hard doing Yard Work or Any Physical TasksI LOVE this massager. I was thinking maybe the air bag compression wouldn't do much, but I'm VERY glad I got that. It really does add a LOT to the experience. I'm in my late 60's and work on my property outside cutting logs and doing a lot of things that are hard on my muscles and my back. I used to need to see my chiropractor once a week at LEAST because of the abuse my body felt. But this massager has changed all that. Now, I massage right before and right after working outside. I use the massager a few times each time and I avoid needing trips for spinal adjustments or acupuncture.
This thing really makes a difference in my quality of life. The controls are easy to use and the massager is very versatile. Before I do heavy yard work, I use the massager for one "session" with the full back setting. The shiatsu rollers travel the full length (height?) of my back and get my muscles ready to be used. The seat vibration is nice, and I usually leave the heat off on these warm summer days. The neck massage rollers are independent of the back rollers, and they can be adjusted up or down so that they hit just the right spot. I play with reversing the direction of the rollers, and they really do feel different with each setting. There is no rhyme nor reason for which feels better when, so I just play with it and when I'm happy I leave it.
The air bag compression is stronger than I thought it would be originally, and it makes a huge difference in the quality of the massage. The bags hold me in place and I think that makes the rollers more effective. The bags themselves also are doing some serious work on my body and muscles, but it's hard to describe. I can tell you, though, that when I use the massager without turning on the compression bags, it's a whole different experience. It's still good, but with the bags, it's fantastic. This is actually the second one of these massagers that I have gotten. I bought the first one OVER 3 years ago, and I used it at least once a day every single day. Most days, I used it twice, and on some days after working in the yard, I used it even more. Long story short — I gave my old one to a friend who really needed it and got myself a new one. I can NOT be without one of these, and if you have back issues, you will love this thing as well. Now, if my back is ever slightly stiff or hurting, I use the chair massage mat for a couple of times while playing video games or watching TV and my pain vanishes. I seriously can't say enough about how this product has improved my quality of life and allows me to still do a lot of yard work and work outside year round.
