Il massaggio è intenso, come piace a me e come mi abbisogna.

Good quality and nice design massage machineI purchased a back massage machine from Comfier four years ago and have used it intensively ever since. I’m happy to say that it still functions perfectly today. Recently, I experienced a stiff neck and began searching for another machine to help relieve the pain. When I came across this new model with a special offer, it immediately caught my attention.
From the photos, you can see the thoughtful design, including removable covers for easy cleaning. One of the standout features is the adjustable neck massager rotators, which can be set to your preferred height. The back massage rotators also provide excellent coverage, moving smoothly from the lower to the upper back. After using it, I can confidently say that it did an amazing job relieving both my stiff neck and back issues. While the price is slightly higher compared to other brands, I believe its design, functionality, and overall performance make it well worth the investment. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality massage machine for home use.

COMFIER Kneading Massage Chair Pad-CF-2309 (verified owner) –
This is integral to my healthI have purchased 2 of these (my dog got jealous and chewed up the cords) and will continue to have at least in my home at all times, one as a backup. I have recommended it to people as well. I have long Covid which includes pain causes by muscle spasms all over my body with no warning (i.e. I could just be sitting in my recliner). Without fixing the pain quickly, I will have a seizure. Any time I start to not feel well, and don't know why from becoming confused or feeling a migraine begin, and I start using this. The pain relief, with the heat being the key, allows me to continue to work fulltime and have quality of life. While this is not a magic device, you do need to learn how to sit in it to get the relief you need. I am 5'8" and have had no problem using this. This machine is important as my doctor visits and is saving me from have lots of physical therapy and surgery to fix my straight neck. The rolling balls CAN be intense, but more effective than anything I have tried. The heat relaxed tense and spasming muscles, and allows the balls to massage and fully loosen the knots. If it is too much at first, put a blanket or towel on it, but trust me. Use the heat, and when relaxed enough, let the heat and balls do their magic. This product is worth every dollar it costs and then some!!

Works Great, definitely recommendVery good massager, it is not hard on body and hits just the right areas at a good pressure. It helps me t avoid stiffness and helps with soreness. I use it at least 4 times a week and still works after a couple of years now and still works, no issues. I really like that it fits perfect on my chair and I can move it to my couch.

It's one of the better seat massagers I have purchased.Of course, no seat massager will ever compare to the real thing, but the multiple functions, quality air bags, extended neck massage nodules, great temperature heat, and the very comforting seat vibration. I will say that with these things, height issues always arise. They just can't give them enough range to personalize between body sizes. This one is fairly good for mid-range bodies. I'm 5'9, and the neck seems to be in a good location, as well as the back massagers.
The rollers for the back are smooth, and rotate slowly to give that kneading feeling. The neck rollers protrude, so they can massage the back and sides of the neck pretty well. And the air pads for the hips and waist are great – surprising for a unit that is fairly compact as far as massagers go. What I have run into with all of these add-on or sit-on-top units is that the rollers eventually start "skipping" and making a loud clunking noise, I'm assuming from the gears being worn down. I have had this one for a number of months now, and it is not immune. I am starting to hear a small popping sound coming from one of the back rollers and assume with more use it will only get worse. I fully admit that this massager gets used almost daily, so we are putting it through it's paces.
The vibration has multiple modes to find the pattern that suits your comfort and relaxation needs the most. I most often just use the Demo mode, because it offers a nice randomness and rejuvenation program that pulls every feature of the chair in. I was a little disappointed in that area by the lack of programs this remote offers. It really is just the Demo mode. Otherwise, you can turn on vibration, air, and one of the massage modes separately, as well as adding in the neck, but there are no other pre-programmed multi-function programs.
All in all, I am please with the purchase of this COMFIER Shiatsu Neck Back Massager with Heat and Compression, and would recommend for those looking for some daily respite from mild to moderate back pains and aches, and overall stretching and relaxation of the neck and back.

Just like massage parlorThis massager is a total game-changer for stress relief! The 2D/3D kneading massage hits all the right spots, especially for my sore neck and back. The adjustable compression on the seat is a fantastic bonus for relaxing my lower body after long days. The heat function adds a soothing touch that feels like a professional spa session at home.
The settings are customizable, so everyone in the family can find what works best for them. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and fits perfectly on most chairs. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for full-body relaxation!

Great product, App control could be betterThe massager did a great job to massage my back and neck. The app control is very convenient and useful. I have one comment for the app developer, it would be good to have an option for user to edit or manage the saved favorite mode. Overall, a very good product.

Good Back Massager with a Flaw in Neck DesignComfier Chair Massage Review:
Pros:
Packaged nicely.
Instructions and set up are easy.
Appears sturdy.
Back massage much more intense without the detachable pad, which I really liked (pad is a Velcro attach/detach).
Fit Recliner sitting up but not with straps around back. Back massage without the Velcro pad was good-very good, but not great.
Fit adjustable bed the best, though it isn't recommended for that specific use. Very good but not excellent back massage.
Cons:
Very heavy. Had to have hubby carry it around.
Didn't fit on my office chair; too big and wrong angle.
Fit dining chair but needed a pad on the seat to get lumbar and neck massager into correct position. This had my feet off the floor – tried various modes, not much of a massage. Also despite 90 degree angle of chair, had to put neck in a very uncomfortable position to use the Neck massage position.
Neck massager is not angled. It is stright aligned with the back but back's massaging units push back "out" a bit So whether in Recliner, dining chair, or adjustable bed (even with pillows or rolled throw blankets to get a better angle on the neck) I wasn't able to use the neck massager portion as it was an awkward and uncomfortable position for my neck in every setting.
Even with a cushion on the seat to make back massager fit my smaller stature (5’1”), and neck on most downward position, neck massage still too high on dining chair and recliner, even after putting rolled up throw blanket behind it to change the angle to be better. But did fit much my neck much better on the adjustable bed, but nothing I tried put the neck massager itself at a comfortable angle to use. Head was always stretched up and pushed back to use neck portion.
Back massager good-very good not great. Would give 4.5 stars.
Neck massager's poor angle made it uncomfortable to use even after adjusting the height and using pillows to change the angle. Couldn't find any way to use it without it being awkward and uncomfortable. Would give that part a 2 star review. The neck massager works great, but the angle makes it uncomfortable to use.
Suggestion for improvement: angle neck forward about 15-20 degrees forward so it lines up with the back when sitting up.
The "air pressure" settings were just very odd. They squeezed from the sides and it wasn't a massage, just an annoying squeeze and relax motion.
I don't like vibrating massage, but it felt very typical. Nothing unusual. Not too intense and very smooth. So 5 stars for vibration (if you like vibration).
Heat was pretty good. It didn't get too hot or overheat on dining chair, recliner or adjustable bed. Heat was just enough to be soothing without feeling "too hot."
Overall score: 4 stars. Good back massager and well made. Not worth the money given the neck angle issues.

Day 01 Review: So Far, (Mostly) So Good!SYNOPSIS
Day 01 Review — I have used the massager for two full sessions and really like it so far — when it works (see paragraph 04). I'm a muscular guy (5'10.5", 235 lbs) and I the pressure from the massager is just about the best I can expect from a cushion. It's firm and insistent; it's no replacement for a true deep tissue massage, but it's well worth the money *IF* the massager holds up to regular use.
The active zone of the back massager is 14" from the TOP of the "Comfier" logo (see pictures). There are 4" of dead zone between the seat cushion and the massager's lowest point of contact. The active zone of the neck massager is 8". I was able to massage my full neck, shoulders, and back by adjusting the settings in "Manual" mode.
I was pleasantly surprised with the air bags. They feel like gentle but firm squeezing pressure on my flanks and upper thighs — this pressure was very soothing, but not invigorating. The vibration in the seat cushion is pleasant, but mild. The heating element is effective at warming the cushion and back.
I said in paragraph 01 that I liked this massager "when it works." It has shut off early (that is, after only a couple of minutes) twice in a row, and *NOT* after a previous full 15 minute session. I do not know if the massager turned off because of overheating (which would be poor build) or because I jostled the power cord (which seems feasible). In any event, after rearranging and sitting still I was able to run the massager for a full session.
DETAILED
Difficulty Level – How Hard Was This To Use?
[_] Beginner
[_] Novice
[x] Competent
[_] Advanced
[_] Expert
I expect that you will need to toy around with the remote to find the massage pattern/positions that work best for you. If you are uncomfortable with that or are looking for a massager that "gets" you without adjusting settings, I recommend looking at other products.
Build Quality
[_] This felt very poorly designed, and I recommend against buying it.
[_] This felt poorly designed, but "your mileage may vary."
[_] This felt like it was adequately designed, with no big pros or cons.
[x] This felt like it was well designed, with more pros than alternatives.
[_] This felt like it was excellently designed, and I recommend buying it.
Assuming this holds up: for the price point, you get a lovely range of features in a form factor that feels solid and high-quality. Other reviewers noted that this was cumbersome to set up, and I agree. Luckily I had a free chair that I plan to make the permanent home of this thing; if I had to set it up every time I used it, I would probably forego spending this much on the item and go with a Zyllion Shiatsu Massage Pillow.
Build Materials
[_] This felt like it was made of different materials than promised, and I warn against it.
[_] This felt like it was made of very cheap materials, and I would not recommend it.
[_] This felt like it was made of the promised materials, with no big pros or cons.
[x] This felt like it was made of higher quality materials, with more pros than alternatives.
[_] This felt like it was made of premium materials, and I recommend buying it.
Assuming this holds up: the fabric feels well-designed; the massage beads feel firm without being (for me) painfully hard, the air bags feel resilient, the vibrating motors are smooth, the machining is smooth, and the mesh over the massage zones is great.
Build Safety
[_] This felt very unsafe to use, and I recommend against buying it.
[_] This felt a little unsafe to use, but "your mileage may vary."
[_] This felt safe enough to use, but nothing to write home about.
[x] This felt safe to use, with better performance than alternatives.
[_] This felt very safe to use, and I recommend buying it
As with any mechanical massager, this device should be safe if you are medically cleared for massages. I strongly recommend against using *ANY* massage device without medical clearance if you have osteopenia, osteoperosis, herniated discs, collapsed spinal column, or any other back/neck conditions. You really do not want to mess around with those.
But if you are of sound health, you should be fine using this. It won't injure an adult without a preexisting condition. I wouldn't let a kid play around on this without supervision, though, as the massagers could cause discomfort or (possibly) injury for a curious child who didn't understand the risk they were taking.
Functionality
[_] This did not do what it promised, and I recommend against buying it.
[_] This did what it promised, but very badly.
[_] This did what it promised, but it was "just fine."
[_] This did what it promised, and did it better than alternatives.
[x] This did what it promised, with distinction, and I recommend buying it.
This recommendation for purchase is PROVISIONAL (that is, based on one day of ownership), QUALIFIED (that is, you understand what a massage cushion can and cannot do for you), and CONTEXTUAL (that is, you have a place you can "park" this, without needing to stow it and set it up for each session). But on those auspices, I think that this was money well spent.

Purchased for my office jobI purchased this because I sit at a desk all day for work. My back aches from long days so I figured I’d get something to help. This is my first day using it and I love it! There are plenty of controls on the remote and it works fantastically. However, the neck massagers are positioned weird so it ends up rubbing the back of your head more than your neck, I am 5’5 so I’m not super short or anything. The heating feels amazing and the back massage is great. I recommend removing the back massager covering for a better massage, it easily detaches with Velcro. It does make some squeaky noises and blowing noises when you turn the airbags on, not sure how this will affect my calls I do, but it’s not incredibly loud. For the price this is a great find. I hope it lasts long. The air bags also don’t so much but make the sides tighter on your skin, it doesn’t really “massage”. It also doesn’t fit perfectly in my standard desk chair, but it still works. I hope this review is helpful 🙂 overall 8/10 rating.

A good, portable massage chairThis COMFIER Shiatsu Neck Back Massager offers a luxurious massage experience right in the comfort of your own home. With its combination of features, it effectively targets tension and promotes relaxation.
What I Liked:
Full Body Relaxation: This massager truly feels like a spa treatment at home! The combination of 2D/3D Shiatsu, Rolling, Compression, Vibration, and Heat provides a truly immersive and relaxing experience.
Innovative Shiatsu Massage: I love how the 4 massage nodes move in a way that mimics a real massage therapist. The 2D/3D motion really targets those tight knots.
Customizable Comfort: I can adjust the massage width to perfectly fit my back and even focus on specific areas with the spot massage function.
Soothing Heat and Gentle Compression: The heat adds an extra layer of relaxation, and I appreciate the adjustable compression for a more personalized massage.
Perfect for Any Space: I use this massager on my couch, in my office chair, even while watching TV. It's incredibly versatile and easy to use.
What I Didn't Like so much:
Variable Intensity: The neck part is a bit too intense, while the back part could use more pressure.
Heat: It's not as hot as I would like.

For me this is better than the mall massage chair. This massage chair is excellent! I’ve had similar devices in the past that I had paid something like $60 bucks. It did the shiatsu massage with heat but wasn’t comfortable on my back. This massage chair has so many options the cheap versions of these kinds of massage chairs don’t have. What I enjoy most is the tapping massage. Only criticism I have is that when you press the SPOT button to stop in desired location the shiatsu stops and only the tapping performs. Not really a big deal for me though. The neck massager is also great. It says it’s designed for people 5 feet to 5 feet 9 inches. I’m 5’ 9 . I found that when I lower the neck massager to its lowest position it does the top part of my shoulders, which is great. The compression part of this unit was a first for me and oddly enough it’s comforting. If you’re looking for a high quality portable back and neck massager I highly recommend this product. 199.00 price tag made me cringe a bit but I’m really happy that I gave this product a chance. I’m sure you will love it as I do.

Comfort of a back and neck massager at fraction of the priceThe media could not be loaded. Since last year, I have moved into a job which requires me to be sitting in the chair continuously for hours. Because of that, a couple of months back I developed sever lower back pain and neck – so much so that, I had to take a week off and rest. Apart from medication, exercises and rest, the doctor recommended either getting a massage chair or massage therapy sessions. The therapy sessions required me to drive to locations and take off from work etc and also expensive (despite insurance). On the other hand, when I started exploring massage chairs, they were also very expensive (over $500 etc), bulky to store and carry. Also most of them promised full body massage which was an overkill for me.
So I stumbled upon this product 'COMFIER Neck Back Massager with Heat' and based on reviews, decided to give it a shot. And now with a couple of weeks of usage, I and definitely say that it was a good decision. Now I have got the option to get my routine back and neck massage from the comfort of my home while working and at a fraction of the cost.
Coming to the product, I would say, the simplicity of use is its biggest feature. There are no complications, just plug and play and the remote control is simple and intuitive. I was able to set it up on my work chair in no time and in my two weeks of usage so far, it is very very effective. Also, compared to a full size expensive massage chair, this is ultra portable to be carried along in the car so that I can use it while working from office or hotel location as well.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to someone in a similar situation.

Back massager for allThis machine is wonderful! Took some time figuring adjustments as I am short and my husband is tall. Being short, (5'3) The neck massage works well if you sit on a thin pillow and move the gears down. I like the chair as you can turn the heat on, change settings during the massage, and it has many different compressions on the sides that are very relaxing. Well worth the money. The only thing i don't like about it, is that we need to use it on a dining room chair. Won't work on our couch, but that may just be the angel of our cushions.

Effective product that is highly satisfactoryWhat I like about this product is that it provides (at least for me) instant pain relief. The pressure it gives is substantial. I used it with the padding it brings (you can remove it) and without it.
Without it, its intense therefore I put the padding back on until my back adapts (i have A LOT of tension so less is more because of the sensitivityin my back) My pain is from a 2012 car accident and post surgery (explained below) Keep in mind it depends on the severity of pain one has. Im not saying Im cured and I know the tension may come back due to a pre-existing condition from the accident but to get relief using it daily is a HUGE help. Granted, I recently bought the Shiatsu. My mother (she has a herinated disc for years) and I have been using it since it was delivered on Sept 10, 2019. I am 2 wks post op of Abdominal surgery which requires me to walk hunched over for 2 wks. That caused me to have a major knot in my back. Im used to sitting up straight so to be in a hunched position was unbearable. I also have to sleep reclined which is uncomfortable for me because I normally sleep on my side. The Shiatsu has helped me significantly. So far, it has helped me to stand a bit straighter with little to no effort, it relieved tension in the middle and lower back and neck. For my mother, she swore after 1st use, her back felt looser and she was able to bend down with ease and improved her posture for that day. We'll see over time if her flexibility improves and better posture is maintained. This was definitely a good investment. To know I can have pain relief on a daily basis (in the comfort of my own home) is priceless. I've mentioned the pros now here is the cons which there's a solution. Con: Im 5'7 and i thought the neck portion of the massager would hit the lower part of my neck but it doesnt unless I sit higher up. (Solution, sit on a cushion. No problem) Also, I wish the massager could go a little higher towards my upper back behind the shoulder blades (for that, maybe I'd slouch down a bit? But then I wont be able to do the neck at the same time) Regardless of those 2 cons, I still think its worth it. It still did what it was made to do. My mom is 5'3 and cant reach the neck area unless she sits on a cushion. Wish the chair had an adjustable feature to accommodate all heights.
Note: I've used it on my leather home office chair and on my sofa (recliner). Works wonders. Also, the heat setting is not as hot as a heathing pad which is fine for me and my mom. We still enjoy that feature. Its just enough.

Works greatI just received this today and tried it out for the first time, and I'm really pleased with it. I noticed some reviews mentioned the back massage wasn’t strong enough, but that hasn’t been my experience at all—it works great for me. I'm 5'5", and the massage nodes hit all the right spots. I especially appreciate the adjustable height on the neck massage feature—it made it easy to find the perfect position. Overall, everything feels great, and I’m very happy with it so far!

Good Enough for Sale PriceTook a couple weeks to really figure out what works best for me. I had to be patient because my immediate reaction was to return it. I fidgeted a lot to get the right spots. Now I add 1 or 2 pillows to reach spots I want so I can relax more. Don't need or use the airbags as it doesn't do much for me and the side airbags squeeze too tight to be comfortable. Wish the neck portion would just go up and down like the back massagers but I have to manually adjust and remote doesn't always work so have press again and again to move it. Also, the neck massagers stick so far out compared to the back massagers, so it is not as relaxing as hoped. (I took back cover off and left neck cover on, and even added additional neck cover.) Neck massagers have 4 rollers, 2 on each side, but unfortunately, can barely feel the smaller rollers unless I push into headrest, but then the big rollers are way to much to handle. So that is a real bummer because I would get better recovery if I could feel the smaller rollers working. Heat works well but takes a while, so I turn that on as soon as turn on unit. I got this on sale for $160 and I think it is worth it for that price as it does reduce my back pain upon awakening, and later in the day, if I need to stay upright. Watched videos before purchased which was helpful before deciding what could work. Good luck, hope this helps!

Love it. Worth the moneySo happy with this product. Had bought two previously and returned them
But this one is awesome
However I am 5’2 and teh neck is high for me and also it does not have upper back so I should lean but I don’t care! Since the massage is so strong and makes my backache gone ! Besides it is so cheap!

Great machine.Doesn’t come with much instruction but once you get it all figured out it’s fantastic. If you’re on the fence about it, just do it. You won’t regret it. I’m 6’2” and my wife is 4’11” we both love it.

Works quite wellWell built and does a whole bunch of stuff. I bought it for someone that has a lot of problems and she said it feels really good but it is quite heavy (for her) and wouldn't be able to move it about herself. It's good quality so don't pass on it just on our reasons.

Great massager!Very nice chair, I was able to set it up pretty comfortably to massage all parts. Need to test several chairs to find one that is a good fit. Goes in a good combination with a foot massager (it lifts the legs slightly and helps with impriving the massage sitting posture).

What a great product! This is a great massager. Being shorter I do have to sit on a pillow, in order to reach my neck, but it does a fantastic job. Our boys used it while they were here over the Memorial weekend, and loved it too. Highly recommend!

Pain relief, oh yeah! This chair has been heaven sent! I have issues with my neck and my husband has a shoulder problem that requires physical therapy and he has been using the chair and skipping physical therapy. It's so nice for my kinked neck after falling asleep while holding the baby! The air bags are such a cool feature!

Completely customizable massageThis back massager is amazing! The neck (goes up and down which is great since I’m almost 6’) and back massage components are independent of each other so you can really customize how and where you need it to work. The air compression is a really nice function and I can’t get over the different massage types are there for the back portion.

Great product! Why did you pick this product vs others?:
This product is great for massages and relieving stress with a quick 15 minute massage. I use it regularly and it always makes me feel better
by releasing tension and I feel relaxed.
Storage capacity:
This is a small massager so it’s easy to store. I just keep it on my office chair and it’s comfortable to keep on there.

Absolutely loved this product. Though the neck portion was a little rough, which I suppose goes for all of them.

2 in 1 neck and back massager!Best back massager I have purchased! I normally don't write reviews, but I'm so glad I picked this for my husband who constantly suffers from backaches! I have tried it myself and it's by far the best one!!

Best option for this type of massageI had this for over 2 years and I still use it a couple of times a week. I saw the bad reviews, saw that most of the negative reviews were that it was too strong. But I like stronger massage chairs, and people lack the common sense to simply put a blanket or wear layers if it’s too strong.

Everything you can ask for at this pricepointI've been sitting on this massage mat for hours the last few days. It hits all those hard to reach spots for me. What I really started to appreciate was the air pressures, it's oddly satisfying.
The pictures on the product preview showed it being used on a couch, but I felt there wasnt enough resistance as my couch isnt firm enough. I had to move it to a more rigid chair and that really helped a lot. I havent tried the app option but that also seems kind of pointless since the remote is literally connected to the chair.
Until I get a full on massage chair, this will do for now. It aint high end but you get what you pay for. I might even try moving this to my office chair while I work during the day.

Turns recliner into a massage chairI've had good experience with Comfier heating pads and have always wanted to have a massage chair, but didn't want to spend $2k+ for one. Putting this massager on my recliner is exactly what I needed for 1/10th of the cost, and it has the added benefit of being easily removable and stored when not in use. I could see this not fitting as well on a regular kitchen chair, but it's perfect on a recliner.
Some of the features I really like:
* Independent neck and back massage settings
* Back massager has multiple modes including 2D (both rollers spin together), 3D (rollers spin one at a time), and rolling mode (slides both rollers up/down together, not spinning), and being able to move it to a specific spot
* Air compresion on back and bottom is a great bonus and helps improve circulation
* There is a pouch on the side where the remote tucks away when not in use
As a ~6ft tall person, the neck massager can be adjusted to comfortably massage my neck or down to my mid-shoulder which is great for shoulder knots. There is a couple inches deadzone between the back massager high point and neck massager low point, but it's easy to slide myself down on the recliner a bit to get my lower shoulder area with the back massager. This has already helped a ton with chronic neck and shoulder pain – highly recommend!

This massager is intense!Wow! What a nice product. This massager is intense. Vibration, shiatzu massage, tapping massage, compression and heat are all part of the suite of features this thing has. Provides an extremely deep massage or a light massage. Wired remote control allows you to customize the massage to your personal preferences. Powerful enough that you can put your full weight on it and get a deep tissue massage that is as intense as you can stand. This thing is no lightweight!
I've put it thru all the paces and even overloaded it with my body weight (225 lbs) and it never missed a beat. My family uses this daily
Very pleased with the product.
There is really only one drawback:
1. it is designed for persons 5" to 5'9". Doesn't mean it won't work if you are outside that range, it just doesn't provide full upper back coverage. I am 6' and it doesn't really get the upper shoulders because I am too tall. That being said, it still does a fabulous job. I knew the range was outside of my height when I bought it, but gave it a try anyway.. Not disappointed.

Love it!I have had several back massage pads over the years; this is the best I've ever had! After 15 minutes on this pad, I feel as relaxed as if I used one of these big bulky massage chairs in the mall. I was almost mesmerized the first time and have used it every day since. I get up a little before my kids and sit in it every morning to start the day with some me time. I also use it sometimes in the middle of the day to recharge my batteries. My entire family uses it and loves it. It has many features including two different kinds of massages for the back and a neck massage option. Vibration, heat function, and spot-on massage options help me work out specific areas when needed. But my favorite feature about this massage chair is the inflatable cushions from the side. The cushions give a comfortable stabilization on the waist level, making it a perfect combination with the 2D/3D Shiatsu kneading which helps with lower back pain. It is just the right intensity, and it feels heavenly to me, mesmerizing. I also love the rolling option for the entire back. I have had neck problems for several years and feel the neck massage helps reduce discomfort. I love that the height of the neck massage is adjustable, so I can either use it for tightness in the cervical spine, or lower toward the upper back/shoulders which helps to work out knots in my trapezius. I think the pad is a little bit on the pricier side, but after using it, I think it is worth every penny and would have even paid more for it if I had to.

This massager is EVERYTHING I expect from Comfier. Thanks for raising the bar! This is my honest review of COMFIER Neck Back Massager with Heat, Shiatsu Massage Chair Pad 2D/3D Kneading & Compression Massager. Wow that its a mouthful.
I want to talk about the few things that really matter to me. Essentially, I want to talk about package presentation including shipping experience and unboxing. Next, I will talk about installation, followed by learning curve, usability, and finally the product performance review, followed by wrap-up/summarization.
1. Shopping and shipping experience You are ordering from Amazon, as you know, and there should be no problems here… if you have Prime, you should get your shipment promptly. I received my shipment 3 days after ordering, but there was a holiday weekend during my wait.
2. Unboxing – see attached photos, the box is clearly descriptive but comes in an outer cardboard box. Inside, in exactly one minute I was completely unpacked with the massager unit, AC adapter, product manual and warranty card/reminder. The remote control is attached to the unit but tucks away when not in use. All in all, the unboxing is simple and installation can be done by anybody. There are 2 elastic straps which attach to a chair you would like to use (I recommend an upright but comfortable chair…. the wooden chair that I used was a little too stiff, but hey, I was excited to start using the massager).
3. Installation and learning curve: Installation is quick. 1. Attach elastic straps to back of chair, 2. Attach AC cord to massager on one side, and outlet on the other. 3. Before you sit down, determine whether you want to remove the flap which lies in front of the middle of the machine where the shaitsu "fingers" lie. A piece of velcro holds the flap in place. The massager is more intense on the back when you do not use the flap. I like to remove the flap for this reason, and because I like seeing the lit-up shiatsu compression balls along the middle lower part of the unit (see photos – lit up in red and blue). Learning curve can be quick if you sit down and press "DEMO" on the remote. My suggestion is to do this the first time around so you can experience the different functions and areas massaged by the unit. Once you learn the remote, via a few days practice, you'll know exactly which buttons to hit to get to what you need quickly.
4. This massager has a lot of areas, functions, and hence possibilities. I have a photo of the remote control which can help me explain different features of the massager. The top row of buttons has "vibration" and "demo". Demo, as I mentioned, is a good place to start and should be about 15 minutes. Vibration refers to vibration of the seat, and has 3 intensity levels depending on how many times you push the button… low, medium, and high, then off. The 2nd row refers to the neck shiatsu massager balls… and can be raised or lowered. The rotation can be made to go clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on your preference. Regarding the next row, I feel deep pressure with the 2D/3D button so I liked it turned on… "rolling" made the nodes travel up and down, stretching out my spinal muscle with simulated fingers. "Spot" with the 2 arrows offers fine-tuning of a spot massage without the rolling function… this is helpful when you have specific pinpoint soreness. For the row of "AIR" buttons, I like to use "Air back" along with "Air seat" to get compression in the lower back and seat areas… the intensity button feels very strong on the highest level, so I suggest starting on a lower intensity for this. Finally, the last row of buttons before the power button indicate if you want Shiatsu massage on full back, upper back, or lower back… I suggest going Full back (both lights lit I think). The heat button should be obvious, but I'm not fond of heat in my massages.
5. In summary, this is a full featured high-performance product, and I feel like this is premium and next best to getting an actual massage chair in the thousands of dollars. For this product, portability beats an actual massage chair every time… I can get this massager off my chair and packed in a minute flat. (I like to remove this massager when my nephews come by because this is a quality massager and therefore not a toy, and therefore children should not use, or at least use with supervision). This massager is everything I expect from Comfier. Thank you for reading.

Waaaaay better then I expectedThis is much different than the old ones that they used to make. This one is padded well and they have made it so it actually fits in the grooves of your body while you sit. I don't know how else to explain it but some are really thin and are just flat and hard feeling. This one really fits to your body so your getting the full massage since it hits all of your muscle areas. The massagers feel great, I like how you can customize it to specificly hit the areas you want or have a full body massage if that's what you need. I also like that you can only have it do your neck/head area for when I get those pesky migraines. The heat function is an added bonus too!

Amazing Relief After Working Too Hard doing Yard Work or Any Physical TasksI LOVE this massager. I was thinking maybe the air bag compression wouldn't do much, but I'm VERY glad I got that. It really does add a LOT to the experience. I'm in my late 60's and work on my property outside cutting logs and doing a lot of things that are hard on my muscles and my back. I used to need to see my chiropractor once a week at LEAST because of the abuse my body felt. But this massager has changed all that. Now, I massage right before and right after working outside. I use the massager a few times each time and I avoid needing trips for spinal adjustments or acupuncture.
This thing really makes a difference in my quality of life. The controls are easy to use and the massager is very versatile. Before I do heavy yard work, I use the massager for one "session" with the full back setting. The shiatsu rollers travel the full length (height?) of my back and get my muscles ready to be used. The seat vibration is nice, and I usually leave the heat off on these warm summer days. The neck massage rollers are independent of the back rollers, and they can be adjusted up or down so that they hit just the right spot. I play with reversing the direction of the rollers, and they really do feel different with each setting. There is no rhyme nor reason for which feels better when, so I just play with it and when I'm happy I leave it.
The air bag compression is stronger than I thought it would be originally, and it makes a huge difference in the quality of the massage. The bags hold me in place and I think that makes the rollers more effective. The bags themselves also are doing some serious work on my body and muscles, but it's hard to describe. I can tell you, though, that when I use the massager without turning on the compression bags, it's a whole different experience. It's still good, but with the bags, it's fantastic. This is actually the second one of these massagers that I have gotten. I bought the first one OVER 3 years ago, and I used it at least once a day every single day. Most days, I used it twice, and on some days after working in the yard, I used it even more. Long story short — I gave my old one to a friend who really needed it and got myself a new one. I can NOT be without one of these, and if you have back issues, you will love this thing as well. Now, if my back is ever slightly stiff or hurting, I use the chair massage mat for a couple of times while playing video games or watching TV and my pain vanishes. I seriously can't say enough about how this product has improved my quality of life and allows me to still do a lot of yard work and work outside year round.

Better than expectedA very good product, definitely worth it. It has multiple functions, and they all work perfectly. It freed me from back problems and leaves you tension-free, relaxed, and very happy. I bought the all-black model, which in my opinion is the prettiest. It also comes with a mobile app to control more advanced functions.

Great qualityI am 5 FT 5 in and prefer deep tissue massages. I tried 3 different brands and decided to keep this one.
The neck rollers are strong. The back is medium strong, even without the cushioning. The air cushions are a little disappointing and not as compressive as lesser brands. Price is higher than others but the quality is there. Hoping itll last for years to come

Absolutely Incredible – Spa-Quality Massage at Home!I am beyond impressed with the COMFIER Shiatsu Neck and Back Massager! From the moment I sat down, I could feel the 2D/3D kneading nodes working deep into my muscles,
mimicking the hands of a real massage therapist. This massager has become an essential part of my self-care routine.
Whether you're looking to relax, relieve back pain, or just treat yourself, this is absolutely worth the investment.
Highly recommend to anyone who wants a spa-like massage without leaving the house.

Superb Quality Massager!I have been a fan of Comfier Massagers for a long time and this complete massager is no exception! This is a quality made massager that's good to go out of the box! It's amazing all that it can do; from massaging your neck, back and lower extremeties…it's the best I've tried! There is nothing flimsy about this product; it's heavy duty and it has a lot of intensity. The controls are intuitive and it gives you so many options for massaging isolated areas or you can do all areas at the same time. I cannot say enough about this massager! When guests come over they all want to try it and they leave feeling relaxed! I would not hesitate buying this again, whether for personal use or as a gift!

Great massager! This massage chair is a total game-changer! I was a little skeptical at first, but it truly delivers a professional-quality massage right at home. The 2D/3D Shiatsu for the back is incredible—it feels like real hands working out all the knots and tension.
The customizable neck massage is a huge bonus. As someone who is a specific height (5'0"-5'9"), it's amazing to finally find a massager that fits my neck and shoulders perfectly. The ability to adjust it up or down with the remote is a thoughtful touch.
I also love the extra features. The optional heat provides a soothing warmth, and the adjustable compression for the waist and hips is fantastic for unwinding after a long day. Being able to place this on any chair, from my recliner to my office chair, makes it a versatile relaxation tool. It's the perfect gift for anyone who deserves a little pampering. Five stars, without a doubt!

Lasted 5 mos then co expects me to ship it for $80UPDATE: I can no longer recommend this product. I enjoyed it for the 5 months that it worked, but when it broke down and I contacted the company I was shocked to learn they expected me to ship the entire product back to them at a cost of $83 in order for them to replace it on the 1 yr warranty. After canceling my gym and their massage chair area, I expected to get my money back on this item after using it for over a year. But instead I find that I would have to pay for this product two or three times a year because of the return shipping requirement. Keeping my gym membership would have been cheaper . Original review: I was excited to read the great reviews on this because in the past, things that you buy to put on your chair at home aren't usually that effective. I'm someone who had a membership at a gym almost exclusively to use their massage chairs until they just became an untenable business for my taste. So I purchased this massage apparatus with the hope that this would replace the massage chair, which I loved. I've used a lot of massage chairs and a lot of massage apparatuses in my life. So I can say this item does indeed have a strong massage ability. The main thing to know is that you may have to make adjustments. For instance I'm 5 ft 4 in tall and based on the website description this chair should and does fit me; however when I sit on a pillow it reaches my neck better and the top of my shoulders area. When I'm sitting flat on the seat it doesn't really hit my neck the way I would like it too. But it's also so firm that I did have to use a double folded light blanket over the upper back area, leaving the lower back area uncovered which is where I need the most pressure. I've only had this a couple of weeks, but I can say that for the price this is an amazing item if you enjoy massage chairs and or have knotted muscles that require something more available than an expensive masseur at a spa routinely. But you do have to experiment with it, because sitting on a small pillow will get this area; sitting on a bigger pillow will get the other area; sitting on no pillow will get another area; leaning your neck to the side puts the roller centered on the spine etc. It is pretty easy to control, although not as much as some high-end massage chairs, but you can make it stop in one spot; you can use heat or no heat; vibration or none; shiatsu or rollers. As I said, for the price and if you're willing to experiment around with different positioning this will be a great item. For me, someone who prefers a harder touch, I actually had a sore upper back after using it the first couple of times because it is a very deep pressure. So you might want to try adding a folded blanket right away before you determine whether to remove the blanket. If I had one complaint it would be that the neck area is too high for most average people. It's not really enjoyable to have to put a pillow on and then take it off and put a blanket on and then take it off. But those are a lot less expensive & less energy intense then going to a spa or spending $25 a month at a gym. I also like the app Feature, which is very easy to upload and use although it doesn't really offer a lot of different options compared to the remote control. There is one button on the remote that says Demo, which is really just a full massage – it will go for the full 15 minutes. On the phone app it gives you the option of doing it more slowly, and the phone app also has the ability to control the intensity of the massage or of the Heat. You can put this in pretty much any chair but the best type of chair would be one that leans back slightly. However you don't want to put it on a bed or use it on a chair where you're fully reclined because it states in the instructions that you cannot put more than 110 lb of pressure against the apparatus. I would definitely recommend this massage chair all in all. As far as the heating element, I find it to be more than adequate. In fact I'm not really a fan of a lot of heat so I generally don't have the heat on it all. But for those people saying that they use a heating pad over the chair while they're being massaged, I feel like Common Sense should dictate that is not appropriate because it would first of all cancel out the one year warranty that the product comes with, and you could also damage the wiring in your heating pad from the nodules pressing against it. I'm sure if the apparatus was able to take more heat they would have added it to the item in manufacturing, so I definitely would not add an additional heating element against the apparatus itself. I feel that it's fairly quiet overall even to the person sitting in it although you do hear the motion of the rollers and vibration. I could also mention that it's fairly easy to move, it doesn't weigh that much for most people- I want to say maybe 15 lb or less. I'm sure that's in the description somewhere. But only the seat portion folds up for storage but it could easily slip in under a bed or behind the couch perhaps when not in use. I'm very impressed overall with this item.

After 2 years, this thing is going strong! The media could not be loaded. I purchased this in 2022. I really wanted a massage chair but I struggled with how bulky they were. I looked at this mainly because of its portability to bring into different rooms or stow away if needed. This was better than I expected!
I use it about 15-20 per month. I love the back massager the best. I like that I can put the heat on or not have it on. The neck massager is a tad higher than it should, but I'm only 5"3. As long as I sit up straight and lean my head back, it does a great job. I like that I can have the neck massager off. It seems to wrap around your body. If I turn it on without me sitting in it, it curves in to find where to massage. (See video). It is currently on a really cheap camping rocking chair and I love it! I went back on here trying to remember what I paid for this as I was thinking about $400 and surprised how reasonable the cost was. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent Massage Chair Pad – Highly Recommend!I absolutely love the COMFIER Shiatsu Neck Back Massager with Heat (2D/3D Massage Chair Pad). After using it, I felt incredibly relaxed and refreshed. The massage rollers are very strong and do an amazing job of working deep into the back muscles, which feels just like a real massage.
The air compression massage is another standout feature, it adds a soothing, spa-like experience that really enhances relaxation. The heat function is a great bonus, especially after a long day, and makes the massage even more effective.
I honestly like everything about this massage chair pad. It’s well-built, easy to use, and delivers results far beyond my expectations. If you’re looking for a powerful and versatile massage pad for home use, this is definitely the one to get.

I like the multi functionsUnit seems to work well and is quite and smooth. I really like the multi functions as in switching between rolling (just up and down) to the, what they call 2d & 3d, which is basically even rotating to the 3d which is the kneading mode. The air pads have three settings and are effective on bolstering the lower back to help get a bit deeper massaging. The seat air pad feels great if you glutes are a bit sore. The vibrating selections are good and strong. Does not "park" rollers at the bottom of the run but not that big a deal. The unit is a bit thick due to the bladders and air pump compared to units that do not have the bladder sand may take a bit of getting used to as you do not sit as "deep" in the chair, but, it also adds to the sturdiness of the unit. Definitely helps with back tension and relaxing sore muscles.

Better than expectedA very good product, definitely worth it. It has multiple functions, and they all work perfectly. It also comes with a mobile app to control more advanced functions.

Nice massage with adjustments. The System works great on the lower to middle upper back. You need to find the right position to reach the top of the glutes. If you're trying to read or use a mobile device, you don't make good contact with the rollers while using the neck option. The neck tends to stay in one spot, so if I need it to move higher, I must adjust my position. It gives a good massage and provides nice pain relief. On occasion, if I'm really sore, it can be a bit intense.

Very comfortable and effectiveI’ve been using this back massager for 3 weeks. In short, the more I use it the more I like it. The long story is that I have an older model Comfier back massager and have been using it for about 4 years. This older model has been serving me without any issues. However, it doesn't contours to the shape of my back. So the roller can protrude in my back and shoulder bones uncomfortably. With this new model, I felt it’s too gentle initially. Then I found that if I use it in a rocker chair and lie down a little, my body weight will enhance the massager not only comfortably but also very effectively.
The neck roller is a godsend. And the air compression is also nice.

Comfier Massage Chair Pad ReviewThe media could not be loaded. In my opinion, this is one of the most underrated massage products on Amazon.
I do think that your experience with an electronic massager can be polarizing based upon your expectations for the product, so I hope that my review can help you to understand what you should, and what you should not buy this product for.
If you want a relaxing experience (like the people in the stock photos of this product that all look like they are leaning back and relaxing), do buy this massager! If your idea of a massage is a soothing experience with gentle kneading, rolling, vibration, etc., to help you unwind, de-stress, and stimulate pleasant sensations, then you will enjoy the Comfier Massage Chair Pad. The title of the product says “Full Body Relaxation” and that’s the kind of state of mind you should have to enjoy the massager.
This massager is very well thought out and has many options to configure the massage exactly the way you like it. There are so many options, and the massage so customizable, that there is a really good chance you can dial in the settings to hit your body just right.
For example, I like a configuration that includes Neck Massage with reverse rotation direction, Back Massage with 3D Shiatsu + Heat, Low Seat Vibration, and Air Massage (both seat and back). I uploaded a picture of the remote with all these settings selected. My wife, however, does not like my configuration, but she prefers something much simpler, with only the Neck Massage (adjusting the nodes to her height) and Lower Back 2D Shiatsu. The point is, you may not love the way the massage feels as soon as you turn on the device, but spend some time learning the settings and you can dial in the massage to suit your tastes and your body.
I think that may be a contributing factor to some of the bad reviews. For example, one of the negative reviewers says “First, you can't use just the neck massage feature. You have to use both neck and back as the back has to be on for the neck to be usable”. I actually read this comment and saw this statement repeated in several negative comments before I purchased the massager, and it was almost a deal-breaker. However, this comment is 100% wrong. In the 2nd photo I uploaded, you can see a photo of the remote showing ONLY the Neck Massage activated with everything else off. It takes literally three button presses, after turning the device on, to do this.
1. Press 2D/3D (Changes Back Massage to 3D Shiatsu)
2. Press 2D/3D again (Turns Back Massage Off)
3. Press Neck (Turns Neck Massage On)
What you should not buy this massager for –
If you have a severe muscular-skeletal issue causing chronic pain, or you need relief from severe tightness, knots, and/or inflamed tendons, you will be disappointed with this device. It is just not designed for that purpose. If you are in this situation, please accept this advice.
1. You have to get your body moving every day. MOVE. Do what you need to do to cushion or guard the painful area and exercise every day.
2. Incorporate stretching AM & PM
3. Buy a Theragun
If I were rating the massager for these purposes, my rating would be different, but for “Full Body Relaxation” (as it advertises itself), I give it 5 stars!

Excellent Full-Back Relief — Works Best on a Recliner! The COMFIER Shiatsu Massage Chair Pad provides an outstanding massage experience that rivals professional spa treatments. The 2D/3D Shiatsu technology, combined with rolling, vibration, compression, and soothing heat, delivers deep muscle relaxation and tension relief throughout the back and hips. The spot massage feature is great for focusing on tight areas, and the adjustable compression intensity adds a relaxing squeeze that feels almost like human hands.
The neck massage function works well for most users in the 5’0”–5’9” height range, though shorter users may find the nodes sit slightly high. I also discovered that this massager works significantly better when used on a recliner or slightly leaned-back chair — it allows the nodes to press more naturally into your back for deeper, more effective relief.
The optional heat setting provides just the right amount of warmth, and the plush padding feels soft and comfortable. It’s easy to move and can be used in the living room, office, or even while watching TV.
Overall, this is an excellent full-back and neck massager that shines when placed on a recliner — perfect for anyone seeking stress relief, better posture, or soothing comfort at home.

Heavy & Heavy duty quality massagerHave been using this for about a month now. This thing has some real weight to it out of the box. For me, it really does a great job of working out kinks in the lower back. You can target, either lower or upper or both, areas of the back for the massager to go to work and it has been a good relief for my lower back stiffness. The air settings for the back and legs really provide an extra tight massaging squeeze. The 2D/3D on the neck is also quite nice. The wired remoted has a whole host of ways to personalize the location of the massage on the body and feels like it is very high quality with the stiffness and overall weight of the unit. The heating function is a nice touch, though I didn't notice this getting as hot as other Comfier brand products, but still effective on the back. The length of the unit is pretty good and would fit a wide range of height of people. I am 6'2" and that is about as tall as you would want to be to have the neck massager hit it in a good spot. Overall, very pleased with this massager as I do use it several times a week.

Great unit with slight recommendation for future changesDoes a great job. Wish the back rotation could go a little lower and the off position would default to the widest portion for the rollers so it was comfortable to just sit in. Not a very big deal as you can time turning off the unit when rollers are in the widest position

Best purchase ever 👍Just got it, using it and I am amazed at the quality and the functionality of the meassage pad. It's equivalent to the affect that I get from the big message chairs at the mall. Also as a bonus it comes with and FREE EXTENED warranty when you register your product. I need this real bad as I do a lot.of physical work and Yes its worth every penny! Just relax sit back, put nice relaxing music with glass of wine and aroma therapy diffuser and you will think your at a Spa aaaaahhhhhh. ❤️

Very good.Surprisingly good for price. Very good back massage and teh air compression is helpful. I'ld buy it again. My only complaint would be the neck massage. Neither myself (6'1" or my wife 5'5" can make use of it. Does not make good contact. We have a separate hand held massager for the neck , so it is not a big deal for us. If the neck is our primary need, consider options.

My favorite massagerI needed to start getting more massages because of added stress in my life, however, massages are expensive! Plus I have to make appointments and drive somewhere so I figured it would be better to buy a massager I can use at home. I did not think it would be this great quality and work this well! I love it so much! I put it on my couch on a seat no one ever sits on and I just turn it on and get a wonderful massage. I love that you plug it in and not charge it because I can use it anytime. There’s a heat setting and you can adjust pretty much all of the massage options and it comes with a remote so you can easily adjust all the settings and there is a little pocket to put away the remote so it’s so neat when not in use.
