Great massage chair - very happy so far
I did a lot of research before buying this chair. Like many things there are both cheaper and more expensive options, and we finally settled on this model as having the right combination of affordability and higher-end features. It was also more aesthetically pleasing than other choices. We knew we needed long SL track capability, zero gravity, and body scanning as all of our family members have widely varying body types. After 3+ months of use we're very happy with our choice. The chair arrived well-packaged and was relatively easy to set up with very minimal assembly. The controls offer a broad variety of massage options, and the shiatsu functions are very strong. We use it almost every evening, and have had no problems with the chair from day one.
The things I would change are relatively minor. I'd add the ability to disable the arm controls as our cats frequently jump on the chair and bump the large power knob, and my wife has fallen asleep a few times and tapped it by mistake. I'd also add user profiles to skip the body scan every time you sit down, but again these are refinements that don't take away from the primary purpose of the chair, which is to help you to relax and remove muscle tension.
Overall we're very pleased with our choice and look forward to years of stress relief!

Good look and relaxing experience

After using this massager almost daily for the past two months, I have some updated impressions. One limitation I’ve noticed is that it doesn’t allow for targeted, localized massage, it works as a full body massager, covering the neck, back, lower back, and hips in one sequence. For example, when I wanted it to focus on my lower back due to some discomfort, I found it couldn’t isolate that area.

During the first month, I occasionally felt that the medium intensity setting pressed too firmly on my back, but this seems to have improved over time, and now it feels more comfortable.

Another thing I’ve observed is that the lumbar area doesn’t fully align with the chair’s backrest, leaving a slight gap especially around the natural curve of the lower back. While the massager can still reach that area during a session, when reclining in the "zero mode" for relaxation, the lack of full support there prevents complete comfort.

The heating function also takes some time to kick in. It’s not immediately noticeable, especially if you’re wearing thicker home clothing like pajamas. It takes more than five minutes for me to feel warmth around my thighs, but I don’t notice as much heat in the lumbar region, although the upper back feels more heated.

I’m still enjoying the massager and continue to use it almost daily. 😄

I recommend measuring the size of your entry door to see if the widest part of the massage chair can pass through before ordering. In our case we had to take it out of the box and remove the air valve from the door and then drag it into the house. The design of the massage chair is very good. I compared several products before buying. It looks nice when using it at night with other lights off, as there are two blue ambient lights on the back of the chair.

The chair is well made and easy to use. It’s made of soft durable leather. My dad is a bigger buddy he weighs around 230 pounds, he can fit in it but I think if it were any narrower, it might feel a bit tight. The chair has various massage modes, including rolling, tapping, and airbag compression, they can be selected from the control screen. It simulates different types of massage with air compression points at the shoulders, forearms, and calves, while there are rotating massage balls for the soles of the feet. The thighs are not massaged. I felt the kneading mode was a bit painful because it’s quite strong, but you can adjust the intensity of both the massage and the air compression. Each preset program lasts 15 minutes, you can adjust the time. I now use it daily for a short massage, and I feel relaxed while lying on it. I particularly enjoy the SLEEP mode, which allows me to recline.

It also has a heating option though it didn’t heat up quickly. When my lower back is sore, the heat feels quite soothing. Overall, I’m satisfied with the massage chair. It’s been in heavy use at our house, and everyone in the family uses it from time to time. I often set it for 20 minutes and end up taking a short nap. Especially when I place my forearms in the massage area, the position is comfortable, and my whole body feels aligned with the chair.

It gets the job done.
I am happy with this purchase, and it is used by our family almost every day.

Pros: There was hardly anything to have to assemble when it was delivered, and I can easily move it around the room. The design is elegant and looks nice in the room. I like that it has different massage modes, a zero gravity feature, provides adequate pressure, and massages all the way from your neck to your toes. I am 5'4" and it is the perfect height for me.

Cons: My husband is 5'11 and it is a little short for him, but we were able to make it comfortable for him by putting a pillow on top, so he still loves to use it. I have not figured out how to make the width of the rollers narrower, but there is a width graph, so I am guessing this is a function I just haven't figured out how to change yet. It says it takes 10-15 minutes for the chair to heat up when you have the heating function on, but I don't feel any heat unless I am in it for at least 30 minutes, and even then I can barely feel it. It does lay flat in the zero gravity mode, but it doesn't lift your legs up and out, so it's like you are laying on your back with your knees bent. I was excited about it having a stretch mode but again, there is no motion in the legs, so it doesn't actually stretch you.

Overall: I purchased the chair on a Black Friday deal and compared to other chairs that have similar functions, this chair cost a lot less. I have a job where I sit at a desk for 10-12 hours during the busy season, which leaves me with bad back pain. Using this chair has been extremely beneficial in relieving that pain. It does what I need it to do, and I am glad I made the purchase.

Quality massage chair with many features.
We love our Culanta message chair! This is the second message chair that we've owned. The brown color goes well with our fireplace room! Our first chair was not zero gravity and we definitely like that feature in this chair. Also the controls are easy to get to on the left hand side if you want to shut it off or change different settings. We use it daily to ease our tired and aching muscles. The tracking is really good as it goes down below the buttocks. The different massages each have their own style and technique and I each a favorite, but they all work very well . I'm sure there are a few things that could be added to the chair, but for the price range it's perfect for what we use it for. It was well packaged and Amazon delivered it to the front door. I was able to slide the box into place and then remove the box from around the chair leaving the box base. There are two wheels to facilitate movement. Overall it's a great chair and our family loves it. I think yours will too!

Extremely easy setup
My family has been enjoying this chair since it first arrived in Oct 2024. So many guests had fallen asleep on this chair whenever they give it a try. The back rollers work wonders and the airbags has a great amount of pressure to the legs and arms. The heating and foot rollers are great too!

There’s a great amount of functionalities and customizations so that you can customize the message session to your needs. I do recommend reading the instruction pamphlet that teaches you how to choose the different functionalities. The older folks would probably just press a button and enjoy the already programmed modes, which is still great enough.

We just bought one more chair in Jan 2025 as a gift for our relatives. They have been enjoying it as well. It’s a good way to enhance your quality of life for sure.

Exactly what I was looking for
I searched for the "right" chair for months. I finally settled on this one out of what started at 23 different massage chairs. This had all the features I was looking for along with the best reviews overall.
You have multiple options for operating it. The touch screen makes it's super easy. It scans you for shape and size when you turn it on. You can control the speed, pressure, motion, and mode. The continuous S bar design makes it a great fit for any body. I also enjoy the fact I can turn the foot rollers off. Sometimes I'm just not feeling that part. I'm a smaller model human. And this was designed with the average model human in mind.

But overall, I'd recommend this chair. It's almost perfect. It'd be perfect if it could adjust to my size properly but I'm not going to hold against the manufacturer. This chair will most likely for you.

Nice chair
Works great, has helped with my daily back aches. Fits my husband and I both. My teenage kids enjoy it after a hard day at sports practice. We enjoy the multiple features and like that it gets my lower back as well as my shoulders. I do wish the arm rests would support your arms better so you do t have to hold your arms in place. If I fully relax my arms they fall out of the arm rest area, but I have found that to be the case with all massage chairs I’ve sat in. I also wish this chair reclined farther back for a true zero gravity experience. But, for what I paid it does a nice job. It is quiet, and was super easy to assemble.

Great Massage, Great Value
We have been looking for a massage chair for the past couple years. Everything we liked was outside of our budget. I was so happy to find this chair that had calf massage with extendable leg rests perfect for my son and husband. The leg portion works very well for them, but they do feel a little too tall for the massage to reach their neck/head. They are both over 6’ tall and still love the chair overall. I am 5’9” and have no issue with the height at all – get a good neck massage and I personally love the heat feature. The biggest downside is that our guests now fight over who gets to sit in it.

great massage chair. my Mom loves it.
This massage chair is great! I got it for my mom as a gift for her 60th birthday, and it met all my expectations. I did a lot of research before choosing this particular model. From what I found, most massage chairs in the $1,000–$2,500 range are quite similar, so I decided to give this one a try based on the combination of reviews and price.

One issue I’ve noticed is that the airbags may not work as effectively if you're on the slimmer side. My wife is about 1.5m and 95lbs, and she doesn’t really feel the airbag compression. However, my mom is 1.65m and 140lbs, and it works great for her.

Another thing to note is the size of the chair. I’m 1.8m and 220lbs. It fits me okay, but there isn’t much room to spare. I can definitely see it being too tight for someone taller or bigger.

Other than that, everything functions well, and my mom absolutely loves it. I don’t have a lot of experience with massage chairs, but among the ones I’ve tried in this price range, this is the best so far.

I definitely recommend this product. Hope you find this review helpful in your search for the right massage chair!

Relax every day
Bought my husband a massage chair, and at first, he was like, “Isn’t this a waste of money?” Now? He rushes home just to sink into it and sigh, “Ahhh… this is heaven.”
I got it because he’s always complaining about back pain from sitting all day. The moment he tried it, he was hooked. His favorite? The heat function—says it reminds him of his grandma warming up his bed as a kid (kinda cute, honestly).
Now the chair is the most popular spot in the house. Even my mom stole a turn and gave me the “you did good” nod.
Husband jokes, “This chair is gentler than you.” Rude, but I’ll allow it. If you’re debating getting one—just do it. Your back (and everyone else’s) will thank you.

Best massage chair- worth investment
I have been using this massage chair for past 6 months and it is really worth every penny. It does full body massage with hands and legs and feels very good afterwards. My boys love to t and uses after every soccer game. Definitely recommend it.

Good chair, but there are a few inaccuracies in how it is described on Amazon
The Amazon description infers there are three zero gravity settings, I have found that the chair may be reclined and stopped at any point on the movement, but there are not three specific zero-gravity positions that I can discern. Clicking on the “Zero Gravity” button just rotates the chair to the maximum end of the reclining movement.

The Amazon description also states multiple times that leather is the material on the seat. Every spot that I can access the back of the material shows it is fake leather (See picture), though the feel is much better than other fake leather I have seen. If in fact there is any real leather used, the color match to the fake leather is pretty good. Also the stitching is pretty good so there is few places where the backside of the material can be even seen.

In addition, the Amazon description says under Safety Information: “Do not exceed the maximum weight limit of 133.3 pounds.” This would make this chair suitable for small adults or children, though it says it is for adults. The weight of the chair is also 133.3 lbs. so I suspect this is another example of the next item.

The instruction manual is rather sparse and obviously written and edited by writers who do not have English as their first language, nor a good command of it as a second language. This is also evident on the control panel. To change the intensity of the massage device one must change the “Speed”. This does not make it go faster, it just enhances the strength of the movement. In addition, the buttons to move the massage device in manual mode, are labeled “Upper” and “Lower”, These buttons move the massage device up or down not make the massage focus on the upper or lower body. Just poor choices for labeling on a US marketed product in my opinion.

While I did not find it listed on the Amazon page, the box made it clear that this chair was made in China. Which is likely where most of the massage chairs on the market are made. I suspect this chair was designed as well as built in China which would explain the poor English grammar and choice of words in the manual and on the controls.

Regarding the size of a person that may use the chair. The max recommended height is 6.2 feet, or 6 foot 2.4 inches. I am 6 foot 2 inches, and it is tight, but I do fit. The dimension not shared anywhere is the max body width that will fit. I am 22 inches across to chest and it is about the max that will fit. Anymore and I would have to contort my upper body to get into the chair. This tight fit does make it difficult to use the controls as getting a forearm and hand out to make an adjustment is difficult. I have to take the control panel out of the holder and rest it on my lap so I can move my forearms and hands to touch the screen. Also I find the control on the left arm rest to be pretty useless. It is even harder to use than the panel given how tight the chair is on me.

The heating feature is rather disappointing. Repeatedly the Amazon page indicates that it takes around 10 minutes to heat up. After a 30 minute session, I still can not feel much in the way of heating on the back.

Regarding the various massage modes, they seem to vary the order of the movements of the massage device, but I have not found that they are distinctly different.

In a plastic bag that was delivered with the chair, there Is a screwdriver, an Allen key , two fuses and what looks like two air hose connections. Since the chair came fully assembled, why these are included is not obvious. Additionally the manual has no mention of adjustments that can be made using the tools nor have I found any place that a fuse could be changed.

Now having shared my observations above, I have enjoyed the chair for the past two weeks and feel it delivers a pretty good massage. At times I would have liked the massage movement to be a little stronger, but it does a nice job. In addition, I appreciate that the outside width of the chair (29 inches) fits through most doors. The chair this one replaced in my house was a pain to move between rooms.

Compared to other chairs I was considering, the Culanta Massage chair Model U1 is a good chair. More expensive chairs may offer more customization in the massage function, but for the price this appears to be a good value.

The control are easy to use, love the auto checking so it knows your body type. Thr pressure is perfect for us, not to soft and not too hard like other massage chair.

It gets the job done.
I am happy with this purchase, and it is used by our family almost every day.

Pros: There was hardly anything to have to assemble when it was delivered, and I can easily move it around the room. The design is elegant and looks nice in the room. I like that it has different massage modes, a zero gravity feature, provides adequate pressure, and massages all the way from your neck to your toes. I am 5'4" and it is the perfect height for me.

Cons: My husband is 5'11 and it is a little short for him, but we were able to make it comfortable for him by putting a pillow on top, so he still loves to use it. I have not figured out how to make the width of the rollers narrower, but there is a width graph, so I am guessing this is a function I just haven't figured out how to change yet. It says it takes 10-15 minutes for the chair to heat up when you have the heating function on, but I don't feel any heat unless I am in it for at least 30 minutes, and even then I can barely feel it. I was excited about it having a stretch mode but again, there is no motion in the legs, so it doesn't actually stretch you.

Overall: I purchased the chair on a Black Friday deal and compared to other chairs that have similar functions, this chair cost a lot less. I have a job where I sit at a desk for 10-12 hours during the busy season, which leaves me with bad back pain. Using this chair has been extremely beneficial in relieving that pain. It does what I need it to do, and I am glad I made the purchase.

This is a nice massage chair that is not that heavy
This is a nice massage chair with light weight that I can easily move it around inside my house. I haven't have a massage chair for years, and I remember my old one was very heavy, I had to move it with 3 guys just to move it inside my house. But with this massage chair, I couldn't believe it; I opened up the box, and moved it into my house just by myself. I don't need help from other guy to move this massage chair. The build quality and the material they used was really good and light weight. This chair require only a little bit installation on the control only, all you need to do is to screw it on, and that's it. No installation require on the chair, once you open it up, it's ready to go.
We have been using this chair for a while now, my wife and my mother in law like it, and they sit on it everyday. There are a few types of massage, and you can speed it up and slow it down. I like the Thai Massage function, and the chair move up and down during the massage, it make me feel good and relax. It has many functions like different massage, and different speed, and even a heat function that you can control on the control panel.
I put it in my living room for now, because I like to use it while watching TV, and sometimes I put it on sleep mode that I can sleep on the chair while massage. Even though my living room is small, but the size of the chair fit my room well. We like it a lot.

Good chair, but there are a few inaccuracies in how it is described on Amazon
The Amazon description infers there are three zero gravity settings, I have found that the chair may be reclined and stopped at any point on the movement, but there are not three specific zero-gravity positions that I can discern. Clicking on the “Zero Gravity” button just rotates the chair to the maximum end of the reclining movement.

The Amazon description also states multiple times that leather is the material on the seat. Every spot that I can access the back of the material shows it is fake leather (See picture), though the feel is much better than other fake leather I have seen. If in fact there is any real leather used, the color match to the fake leather is pretty good. Also the stitching is pretty good so there is few places where the backside of the material can be even seen.

In addition, the Amazon description says under Safety Information: “Do not exceed the maximum weight limit of 133.3 pounds.” This would make this chair suitable for small adults or children, though it says it is for adults. The weight of the chair is also 133.3 lbs. so I suspect this is another example of the next item.

The instruction manual is rather sparse and obviously written and edited by writers who do not have English as their first language, nor a good command of it as a second language. This is also evident on the control panel. To change the intensity of the massage device one must change the “Speed”. This does not make it go faster, it just enhances the strength of the movement. In addition, the buttons to move the massage device in manual mode, are labeled “Upper” and “Lower”, These buttons move the massage device up or down not make the massage focus on the upper or lower body. Just poor choices for labeling on a US marketed product in my opinion.

While I did not find it listed on the Amazon page, the box made it clear that this chair was made in China. Which is likely where most of the massage chairs on the market are made. I suspect this chair was designed as well as built in China which would explain the poor English grammar and choice of words in the manual and on the controls.

Regarding the size of a person that may use the chair. The max recommended height is 6.2 feet, or 6 foot 2.4 inches. I am 6 foot 2 inches, and it is tight, but I do fit. The dimension not shared anywhere is the max body width that will fit. I am 22 inches across to chest and it is about the max that will fit. Anymore and I would have to contort my upper body to get into the chair. This tight fit does make it difficult to use the controls as getting a forearm and hand out to make an adjustment is difficult. I have to take the control panel out of the holder and rest it on my lap so I can move my forearms and hands to touch the screen. Also I find the control on the left arm rest to be pretty useless. It is even harder to use than the panel given how tight the chair is on me.

The heating feature is rather disappointing. Repeatedly the Amazon page indicates that it takes around 10 minutes to heat up. After a 30 minute session, I still can not feel much in the way of heating on the back.

Regarding the various massage modes, they seem to vary the order of the movements of the massage device, but I have not found that they are distinctly different.

In a plastic bag that was delivered with the chair, there Is a screwdriver, an Allen key , two fuses and what looks like two air hose connections. Since the chair came fully assembled, why these are included is not obvious. Additionally the manual has no mention of adjustments that can be made using the tools nor have I found any place that a fuse could be changed.

Now having shared my observations above, I have enjoyed the chair for the past two weeks and feel it delivers a pretty good massage. At times I would have liked the massage movement to be a little stronger, but it does a nice job. In addition, I appreciate that the outside width of the chair (29 inches) fits through most doors. The chair this one replaced in my house was a pain to move between rooms.

Compared to other chairs I was considering, the Culanta Massage chair Model U1 is a good chair. More expensive chairs may offer more customization in the massage function, but for the price this appears to be a good value.

After using this massager almost daily for the past two months, I have some updated impressions. One limitation I’ve noticed is that it doesn’t allow for targeted, localized massage, it works as a full body massager, covering the neck, back, lower back, and hips in one sequence. For example, when I wanted it to focus on my lower back due to some discomfort, I found it couldn’t isolate that area.

During the first month, I occasionally felt that the medium intensity setting pressed too firmly on my back, but this seems to have improved over time, and now it feels more comfortable.

Another thing I’ve observed is that the lumbar area doesn’t fully align with the chair’s backrest, leaving a slight gap especially around the natural curve of the lower back. While the massager can still reach that area during a session, when reclining in the "zero mode" for relaxation, the lack of full support there prevents complete comfort.

The heating function also takes some time to kick in. It’s not immediately noticeable, especially if you’re wearing thicker home clothing like pajamas. It takes more than five minutes for me to feel warmth around my thighs, but I don’t notice as much heat in the lumbar region, although the upper back feels more heated.

It simulates different types of massage with air compression points at the shoulders, forearms, and calves, while there are rotating massage balls for the soles of the feet. The thighs are not massaged. I felt the kneading mode was a bit painful because it’s quite strong, but you can adjust the intensity of both the massage and the air compression. Each preset program lasts 15 minutes, you can adjust the time. I now use it daily for a short massage, and I feel relaxed while lying on it. I particularly enjoy the SLEEP mode, which allows me to recline.

I absolutely love this chair! It was a present for my boyfriend‘s birthday, but I ended up using it every day! I don’t know how long it’s gonna last but I think it’s amazing worth every penny I wish I would’ve bought it sooner! I’m short 5 foot three if it’s me perfectly. Great massage chair - very happy so far
I did a lot of research before buying this chair. Like many things there are both cheaper and more expensive options, and we finally settled on this model as having the right combination of affordability and higher-end features. It was also more aesthetically pleasing than other choices. We knew we needed long SL track capability, zero gravity, and body scanning as all of our family members have widely varying body types. After 3+ months of use we're very happy with our choice. The chair arrived well-packaged and was relatively easy to set up with very minimal assembly. The controls offer a broad variety of massage options, and the shiatsu functions are very strong. We use it almost every evening, and have had no problems with the chair from day one.
The things I would change are relatively minor. I'd add the ability to disable the arm controls as our cats frequently jump on the chair and bump the large power knob, and my wife has fallen asleep a few times and tapped it by mistake. I'd also add user profiles to skip the body scan every time you sit down, but again these are refinements that don't take away from the primary purpose of the chair, which is to help you to relax and remove muscle tension.
Overall we're very pleased with our choice and look forward to years of stress relief!

Quickest way to recover after a long hectic days!!
A couple of weeks ago, I tried a massage chair at my local wholesale club and absolutely loved it, but the price was way too high for me. After doing some research, I found this massage chair on Amazon. It wasn’t the same brand, but it has all the features that the other chair was offering and the best part is there was a massive price difference between this chair and the chair that I tested at my local wholesale club.
I’ve been using this chair for over a week now, and it’s extremely comfortable. It arrives in a big, bulky box that’s quite heavy, the delivery guy I asked you where you want this chair to be make sure you know this part otherwise you will definitely need help moving it. The good thing is that the chair requires no assembly. It’s ready to use right out of the box.
Just a heads-up: when you sit on the chair for the first time, it takes a moment to scan your body before starting the massage. Don’t panic let it finish scanning, and then you can explore all the settings to find what suits you best.
I’m an athlete, so after intense workouts or long hours on the field, this chair helps me recover quickly. I’m really happy with my purchase. The best part is that I just received an email from the seller offering a two year warranty, which gives me even more confidence that this is a high-quality chair.

Amazing Massage Chair
I’m honestly obsessed with this massage chair. It looks super sleek in person and fits perfectly in my living room without looking bulky. The setup was easy, and once I sat in it, I knew it was worth every penny.
